My friend who works for company A gets stuck in a mantrap security door in company B. Breaks down the door to get out and gets terminated by the employer(A).

My friend attempted to contact security and other building personnel to no avail. Can the grounds for breaking down of the door be due to false imprisonment?

I mean you are literally trapped in a small room where the security staff and building personnel are not responding.

What can my friend do? Sue for negligence, false imprisonment, ...damages(mental stress can claim claustrophobia)???

I am trying to create a login form that basically mimics a library's computer login. Do you think that it is possible to do it in VB or would it be easier to create such a program in a program other than visual studio.

First off I would like to put it out there that I am a auto noobie. I don't know jack sht about cars. I am really willing to learn.

Actual issue:

The engine always stalls when coming into a relatively hard stop. I have noticed that the RPM dips when I apply the brakes. RPM dips lower the harder the stop is. Stalling depends on how hard the stop is as opposed to just applying brakes in general. Idle RPM is good. Stall ONLY occurs in transition from moving to stop. Stalling does not happen in any way while idle. Just as a side note, soft stops don't affect the RPM.

Story(if you even care about it):

So back in December 2014, yea hella long time ago, I was struck in the rear left between the quarter panel and the bumper roughly 7-10 inches behind the gas door. I had to do all this dmv and insurance paperwork to get a salvage title. During that time I basically parked this car for a long time and drove my other car. Even after the paperwork was done, I decided to self repair the damage with my dad. Saved a TON of money and the job was well done. After the job was done(May 2015), I drove my car around and found that it started stalling when coming to a relatively hard stop.

So I installed the win 8 drivers from the website because the one preloaded on the disc is compatible only up to win7. After installing the driver, I restart my rig, connect to my wifi network and everything works fine for 2ish minutes. Then all of a sudden the network status shows: "limited." When I adjust my settings in Adapter properties>configure>advanced tab, i change 11n AdHoc and 802.11d back and forth between disabled and enabled settings. Those are temporary fixes that work for a few minutes. I try to troubleshoot my network and in the middle of the diagnostic, My computer freezes.

I got my first debit card less than 1 year ago back in september of 2013 and my first credit card in december. now i have one discover and one east west visa card both of which I have always paid off my balances religiously, never resulting in late payments. when i applied for my discover card in february, they sent me my card with a fico credit score. and my score after 3 months of no problems drops 26 points. im freaking out/pissed at the moment. can anyone explain whats going on?

I did read somewhere that making large payments that dont exceed the credit limit bring down your score. I go to CommCollege and pay my ~900-1k tuition with my discover card that has a 1k limit

I want to ask all of you out there using both Internet and VoIP from AT&T's U-Verse. If you ever check your consistent ping, does it ever spike? I do a ping to Google's DNS server every second using *Start*+R "ping -t 8.8.8.8" and every 20 or so seconds, my ping spikes between 250-3000ms. If there is a solution, please share :]

So right now I am a freshman at a community college currently taking Calc A, Jazz history, Chinese, and Comparative Politics(total 16 units) to satisfy the IGETC requirements and a few of the UCLA HSSEAS requirements.

My semester units for the IGETC coursework and UCLA's HSSEAS additional requirements will add up to 95 units. I also want to apply to UCB's College of Engineering which does not accept IGETC and has a unit limit of 89*. What's up with this puzzle.

*note: the UCB website says: "Applicants must complete a minimum of 60 UC-transferable semester units by the end of spring term prior to fall admission. Applicants with excessive transferable semester units (89 or more from a four-year institution or those who complete coursework at a community college and then transfer to a four-year institution) are ineligible for admission."

The latter part of the parenthesized phrase talks about the CC credits. Can someone please help clarify that?

All i can say is the amount of money is astounding(I did my research with the bank and everything checks out). A bank in Hong Kong called me stating that my late uncle(they had the right guy) left me money in his Will. I have a few questions. I have no account with that bank. In what form will they transfer the funds to me? Cash? Wire transfer? Check?

Another thing. After I receive the funds lets say for example through a wire transfer and I was to wire half of that transfer to a relative in another country. how will federal taxes be applied to this via IRS.

God is said to have created all things that make up what we know of to this day. In that sense, it is said that he created man. Why did he create man with human nature when his supposed goal, as seen in the 10 commandments, is to cleanse man of human nature. Don't believe me? Let me ask you, are characteristics like jealously, lust, selfishness, arrogance, and many more. The 10 commandments all say to suppress these feelings to become a good person. Doesn't that make us not humans but something else. Humans naturally strive to become better than their fellow man. That is human nature. So main point is, Why did God create man with human nature if all he wants is for us to suppress it and become something other than man? In order to go to heaven, you must suppress your human nature and repent the sins that you have already committed. This argument in a nutshell is basically human nature is sin.

This may be confusing, but i want to use apps on my galaxy, but they require something that says allow background data. Will this effect my phone bill if i dont have data plan? and i have 2 separate settings for data, one that says cut off all data("Use Packet Data" unchecked to disable), and another that talks about the background data that is used by apps. so if i disable "Use Packet Data", will my phone's apps only use data if im connected to wifi?
