I've finally got my parents back into hunting. My step brother and my father put in for tags but I couldn't put in because I hadn't gone through Hunter's Ed. Though I will put in next year because I have my test next time.

My father said if I beat him at the test he'll get

me a gun. I'm looking at something like a 30, 30. My father has a 7mm and after shooting for awhile usually the kicks don't bother me but I'm a little scared of that 7mm.

What would be a low caliber rifle that has low kick but good for hunting? I already own a .22

I'm writing a story and the girl is setting up a library. So I was wonder is it okay if I put just the book title and author in my book. Most of them are classics but she is starting to read more modern day books. Such as Percy Jackson and stuff like that. I it okay if I put it like this.

I carefully walked over and after standing on my tip toes place "Black Beauty" by Anna Swell on the top shelf. Where only a couple of books stood including: "Alice in Wonder Land and Through the Looking Glass, White Fang, The Call of the Wild, Peter Pan," and "The Princess Bride". I added the book to my collection and couldn't help but smile

I'm writing a book and I need a horse coat color. The girl who will be the owner has a dragon named that looks kind of like Ice. She'll tame this horse and ride it in the book. I want a rare color that is beautiful. I don't want the normal bay or white colors. Nothing painted either.

Also names to go with the horse. It will most likely be male but I might do female. I was thinking a buckskin.

So put what color you think I should do.

I'm working on a writing project and I have 12 places each one has a certain animal here is what I have.

1- Dragons

2- Griffins

3- Hippogriffs (Horse griffins)

I'd love for all of them to be mythical creatures mostly around Renaissance (medieval time) period. No 1/2 human 1/2 animal and no unicorns they're a wild creature. It doesn't have to be medieval time period or have to be mythical. I might put a lion in there somewhere. These animals are strong and powerful they are meant for war.

My mom has been working with a horse. The family has been having fights and might breakup. Even though she was promised this horse after the mother died she doesn't think she'll get it.

This horse is a papered Tennessee Walker, from the bloodline of Roy Rogers. He is gelded and my mom is the only one who can get close to him. He was owned by some cowboys who loved his speed but hated his walk. So they beat the walk out of him. He's abused and very weary of men. He is just starting to get his gait back. He is a red roan with a white hook on his face. How much is he worth? Last time we checked the lady wanted $5,000 for him.

For Christmas I'm drawing my friends as horses because I'm really good at horses but not at people. My mom suggested drawing my friends with their character horses. How would I do that? Suggestions? It's a real horse not the human horse cross.

I once had this picture. Only it was a bit different. It had the indians that are there in a forest background with a poem I'd like to find if before christmas. My mom had one of the same two same forest but sitting on a rock. Please help

In 4th grade we learned about mountain men and my teacher had this sweet white block that he had us try a piece of. He once told us the name of it but i can't remember the name of out. Please no dumb answers, yes it was when we were doing mountain men.

So my sister and I took a belly dancing class in school and a talent show is at the end of the year and we'd like to dance. Currently my teacher is teaching us a dance for Underground form Alice by Avril Lavigne. Which I thought was cool because it's something different.

I don't want answers like ask your teacher or try something more like the classic belly dance. I'd like to know which one to choose and some tips on choreographing them. Also we're planning on getting veils and maybe Isis wings (if we do I've already got a dance) So you could probably have some ideas with veils.

Well Halloween is coming up and I don't know what to be. I may be going to a dance so I would like to dress up. I'm a teenage girl. I like scary stuff but hate masks. I'm going to be learning bruises, scars and marks for theater. So I can apply that to my face.

So this is for Art class and we're designing covers. I'm looking to different styles in a dream catcher style. With my name at the top then four words linked together. I'm just thinking what colors should I do.

What is the typical age that it's a good time to breed a mare?

My family all has their own horse. But my step-dad's horse has only one eye and is getting old. He was originally to be my younger sister's horse but she moved back with my grandmother. When my step-dad found out the horse was basically a pocket pony (not litterally. I mean this horse is about 17hh but he is so lovable like a giant teddy bear) he fell in love with it. But he knows that the horse is an older horse and my sister and I have two mares who are about 5 or 6 years old and his son who raises horses have a very expensive stud but we'd get discount. He knows it will take time and work, we have a place to put the foal. I was just wondering when is the ideal age to breed a mare.

I'm looking to get my horse shod in a couple of weeks. I have several friends who recommended a guy. He does $75 for cold and $80 for hot. Which normally I get cold because hot is way too expensive. Since I have to pay half of the bill (deal with parents) I have to pay $40 for cold or hot. So I was wondering what is the difference? Which is better for the horses?

My horse is a new one and I haven't yet shod her. She's an Appaloosa and she has a wonderful canter and gallop. Though her trot is really bouncy, I'm planning to train her for barrel racing once the cut on her leg is fully healed. (She tried kicking cows in the next pen and messed up her leg. It's now really small and the vet says it'll be healed in 2 weeks when we shoe all the horses) She's out in a 40? or more pasture with other horses.

I'm getting a new horse and I'd like to do the horse in turquoise colors. But it is one of the more difficult colors to find. I'm looking for a halter bridle combo in turquoise. No it can't be a halter or a bridle it has to be a combo. I'm looking for a combo because the horse I am getting has been abused and she won't let you touch her and she's a halter horse (easier to catch with halter on. Won't catch without) I'm looking for a website that has decent prices. $0-$50 price range.

I was told once that you need _____ amount of miles on a horse before it can even be considered kid safe. I think the number was 2,000 but I'm not sure. Anyone know the number?

Since I got my last horse I've learned a lot. But my horse being about 18 years old he's taught me a lot but I can't learn anything on him. So my new trainer(s) are helping me get a new horse. I love this mare they picked out for me and I find her excellent. But she has a couple of problems that I was wondering what I could do. I've already asked my trainer(s) and they said a lot of TLC.

The new mare acts like she was beaten and she has spur scars. She'll let you touch her head but when it comes to touching her ears she freaks out and will back away or rear up. I was wondering if there was some kind of trick to help me touch her ears without having her rear up. I once read an article that said touch it quickly then act like you didn't. She also responds to leg commands, when you use the reins (she's trained on a bit less bridle.) She tosses her head up really high.

I'm writing a book and its about wolves. Anyway I need a character that will almost kill the wolf. I was thinking bobcat but its a little small. I want it to be like a cat type animal that lives in the forest.

So I've noticed with my horse, that I got not long ago, that he doesn't like apples or carrots. Seeming how our next agriculture store is an hour drive away and they usually don't carry treats for horses what can I give him? I was told I could give him a small handful of grain (my current one has molasses on it), can I do that? I know you don't need treats but I've always given my horses a treat to praise good behavior or for little kids who want to pet them and feed them.
