Recital music, where to find?
Where can I get the sheet music to this song, and do you think the piano accompaniment would be hard?
1 AnswerClassical1 decade agoclassical sheet music help?
Hello YA! classical people. A while ago I made a custom google search engine for "classical sheet music". Could you help me and test it out and give me a little feedback. I've tried to limit it to both PD scores and quality sites. I've run some searches with BWV and KV numbers, but my searching is biased because I built it.
3 AnswersClassical1 decade agoHow does the "Classical YA!" community feel about?
...the Youtube Symphony? Other than a lot of questions about where to print out the sheet music and participant directions there's been very little talk about the project as a whole. Any thoughts?
For those that don't know about the project here's the link which includes a performance of the Tan Dun composition by the LSO

5 AnswersClassical1 decade agoArt and Music, are there obvious connections like there were in the past?
The connection between music and art doesn’t seem to be as clear as it once was, for example Debussy and Monet went hand in hand. Can you think of a good match between visual art and classical music (western art music) within the last 20ty years?
3 AnswersClassical1 decade agoYour music collection? Example (importance) of interpretation?
What composition do you have the most recordings of in your music collection? Also what piece do you think is a good example to use when discussing interpretation with a “newbie”.

Which composers living today will be remembered and which will be blips on the radar. Don't hold back I'm sure Philip Glass doesn't look to YA for ego boosts or insults.
