My Mom, Granny and Aunt were from MS. They were excellent cooks. Me my Mom always said if I couldn't fry it I could not make it. Anyway........I would appreciate any help with recipes for chicken and dumplings, sweet potato pie and cornbread dressing from scratch.

Can anyone else share with me their experiences with the Digital TV using the little boxes? I live in IL and I can only get in about 4 channels. I have even purchased two antennas each costing a bit more. So please share any ideas, tips, experiences whatever.

Hello everyone. I was given a Smoker by a friend but was not able to use it because she neglected to give me the pan for the charcoal/wood. Well she came through and now I am in need of recipes, and suggestions on how to use it.

I like chicken, pork and beef. Chicken is like one of my favorite foods to eat.

I have seen on several cooking show like on foodnetwork and on pbs where they used items from the kitchen to smoke meats inside on the stove top. Once I do believe was on Yan Can Cook. I think he used rice, brown sugar and salt in the wok. I have tried to search for it online but can't locate it. Any assistance would be helpful. Thank you and have a great day. Also any suggestions on how to smoke meat on my Weber would be greatly appreciated.

An assoicate from online gave me from a restaurant in Coles County in Illinois.

It was for Drunken Shrimp. It was delicious. But I have since lost the recipe and am no longer in contact with this individual.

It contained raw shrimp, scallions, and the strangest item was a jar of chicken gravy. It also had white wine for deglazing the pan. Plus a couple of other ingredients.

If anyone could give me the recipe I would be very grateful. It is really quite delicious.

I can hear the voice but not all the words and it is making me nuts. The song involves her meeting a guy, going to a hotel, becoming pregnant. They meet months later, she is with her husband and a baby, the guy can see his features in the baby. Basically she says that he gave her something her husband couldn't give her.
