I just read today that there is now 4.5 million unemployed in U.S. How long can the Government pay that many people unemployment? The working people pay taxes, if people aren't working whose paying the taxes?

I don't know the ins/outs of it all, but as a health care worker I notice that those of us who have insurance are paying out the butt for healthcare while the other half are either on medicare/medicaid or no insurance at all, which by the way I end up paying for them also with my insurance coverage and taxes.

So why can't the American public speak up and force the government to provide insurance for all Americans by using tax money, seems 1/2 of America is already on medicare/medicaid already through our taxes.

I know, its a profit thing with insurance companies. They are the ones who would lose out, and of course the government would say, can't do that it would destroy our economy.

Tell me what you think, and what would you do to improve this.

Yesterday I was waiting in line in my car at my son's school, waiting for the bus, he went on a field trip.

A woman got out of her van and started screaming "Oh my God!". People started running over to her van, then someone yelled, is there a nurse here. I got out of my car and ran over. The woman had no respirations or carotid pulse. I threw the seat back as far as it would go and started cpr.

Needless to say the EMS came to get her, she was talking to me when they took her.

I am a nurse. I truly believe God puts people in the right place at the right time. The bus was 30 minutes late. What if the bus had been on time and the woman coded somewhere else. Would there have been someone there to help?

I am a christian and know little about Allah. I wanted to know if Allah ever walked the earth.

I have deepest sympathy at this moment. I am so sorry for your loss. I could not imagine losing a child or loved one in this manner. They were so young with so much life left to give.

I lost my father in January due to a long term illness. Even though I knew he was dying, when it finally happened, my heart grieved so. I had never felt such a heaviness in my life. I would never wish this feeling on anyone. I still cry frequently, especially when I see something that reminds me of him. Easter was the hardest on the family. A holiday without a loved one.

My prayers are with you all.
