If our brain and its associated intelligence is a culmination of our physical evolution in the animal kingdom, could it be possible that evolution could be possibly taking place in the world of our ideas, ideologies and technologies that drive science to produce the tools that are altering the face of the physical earth and the web of life on it today??? And if this is so wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that the major thrust of evolution now is on a psychological plain?

Particularly Christians; do you think that the story of Adam and Eve is a historical event or is it Mythology adopted to explore the human condition and our relationship to a Creator? I respect whatever is your view; Iam just curious to see how people generally view this issue today. Thank you
