Desperate, frustrated, feeling rejected, certainly unloved and unlovable, committed to 2 separate psychiatric hospitals, 2 suicide attempts and being involuntarily committed to a state mental hospital, Jesus still loved me. I was mentally, emotionally and spiritually void or numb. I came from a background of physical, sexual and emotional abuse; abusing drugs and alcohol over a 30 year period of time. Depression, mental illness, sexual promiscuity and panic attacks, it seemed fitting that the Lord would give me a heart for women who believe there is no hope for them. Because of what Jesus has done in my life I want to share that with women who feel there is no hope for them. That's the best thing about me...besides my family.

I have a real desire to ask and answer questions intelligently regarding 'religion', but why is there so much sarcasm and hate against Christians? Why can't the questions at least be honest ones? I see mostly questions being asked just to bash Christ and Christians.

If the Bible is NOT true, then we all have nothing to lose and Jesus was in fact a lunatic. If the Bible IS true, then all those not believing that Jesus is Lord, by their own choice, will spend eternity in hell; losing their soul. That means those who do not believe have way more to lose than those who believe something that is not true. I'd rather be on the winning team. We take our eternal lives too cavalier. Can we have some serious answers and comments.
