I have an external hard drive that worked only a few days ago perfectly,but today it doesn't show up at all under the devices and drives. The computer recognizes that it is connected to the PC. It also doesn't show in disk management. I can use minitool partition wizard and it shows up in that, and allows me to access the drive, but not on the computer itself.

I have tried uninstalling the driver but that doesn't do anything.It feels like i've done every tutorial to try and fix it but i have had no results so far

I have a new laptop HP EliteBook with Windows 7 SP1 installed on it. SSD has 500GB but the system is only showing half capacity of the disk.

Two days ago, I bought a brand new hp pavilion w/ Windows 7. I keep getting this message "Windows Explorer has Stopped Working...Windows Explorer is Restarting"

What is causing this?

How do I fix it?

There isn't much of anything installed by me on this computer. The software came w/ the machine.

I attempted to run Event Viewer last night but received the following message "Microsoft Management Console has stopped working"

I have made no changes to the computer. I ran a SFC scan, which said that there were errors which it could not repair, and the details were in a folder, which denied me access, even though I am the administrator and the only person to use this computer.Any help would be much appreciated.I am using Windows 7 professional 32 bitMany thanks

I received the error saying 'There was a problem sending the command to the program.', when attempting to download a word document that was attached as an e-mail. It is not an excel file. can anyone help?

 Hi, for a number of weeks at start up my laptop shows a screen and on it it mentions that one of my disks need checking for consistency. When the computer starts up, the real time protection icon is red and i have to turn it back on. Please help.

I turned on my laptop today a it says that one of my disks needs to be checked for consistency. No weird noises. Just sits there. What does this mean? It has done this before but eventually I was allowed to log back in.

I tried to run CHKDSK on my computer but it failed and an error message popped up: CHKDSK cannot open volume for direct access error. 

I was working in my system and the external hard drive was working fine, but suddendly it stopped and it does not have any folder inside. I don't have backup of data. Provide me the possible solution.
