Windows 7 - "Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working"?

Two days ago, I bought a brand new hp pavilion w/ Windows 7. I keep getting this message "Windows Explorer has Stopped Working...Windows Explorer is Restarting"

What is causing this?

How do I fix it?

There isn't much of anything installed by me on this computer. The software came w/ the machine.

I didn't think you could still but new computers that have windows 7 on them as microsoft stopped selling licences for windows 7 a few years ago.

internet explorer is not supported any more (its microsoft edge now) you can easily download a new browser like firefox and make that your default browser - job done

Use the repair partition on your laptop to reinstall the OS and Drivers.

Save anything of yours as it will wipe and return the computer to the state it was in at purchase or manufacture.

If it still shows errors Send it back if you can and buy a different computer.
