So my boyfriend and I want to go to a city 3 hours away from home for spring break. Our spring breaks are 1 week spart so we decided to do it the weekend mine ends and his starts. Anyways since I'm 17 and he's 21 my mom does not trust us to no do 'it'. We would not even get a hotel room because his aunt lives there so we would stay with her and since they are Christians we would not share a room. Well the problem is that we already went down one weekend without her knowing, and she still doesn't know. I know this was not a good idea but it was really last minute and I was tired of staying in this town. Well since we already went without my mom knowing I can't really have her talk to his aunt or mom to confirm we would get seperate rooms.. how can I convince her that it is ok to let me go, that there will be no sex, there will be seperate rooms however, and even if there aren't we wouldn't. any ideas?

So I have a friend and he goes to a school that has homecoming super late in the year cause they lack a football team. any ways, because of the situation not many people there date and so it's hard to ask a girl to homecoming. Anyways he wants to ask a girl to homecoming but doesn't want her getting the wrong idea, he wants her to say yes but not think he wants to date her. How does he go about doing this? He wants nothing romantic so they won't get the wrong idea, but he doesn't simply want to come out and say it.

...Shakespeare play and he offers to take her to Paris. She hasn't been so she goes. They do a bunch of crazy stuff along the way, he goes to this bar, where he leaves her suitcase, and has a friend there named Lulu (I think that was her name) and then they end up on this boat with older people who think they're dating. I don't remember all the details but she wakes up in this artists studio, in Paris, and he is gone. Then they talk about her going back to the US (she had just graduated high school by the way) and they talk about her experience in college for a bit. She then decides to go back to Paris to try and find this guy, and the book ends right as he opens the door (The sequel just came out in October). I cannot remember the title (Or the sequel title) and I want to say the author was a guy, but I can't remember. I tried looking at my library website and barnes and noble but I came up with no results. If anyone knows this book, or can tell me of a website to help me find it, that would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!! Or maybe you know the sequel, that would help too. Oh they also talk about how he did not abandon the girl, he just ended up going to the hospital and when he went back to the place she was gone. Sorry this is kinda vague, but I really want to find this book and this is all I can really think of.

So I am no longer keeping my contract with Verizon, freakishly expensive, and I am going to go with a prepaid plan, looking at straight talk. If I order an iPhone from ebay that's factory unlocked will I be able to use it with straight talk? What about if it's a verizon or AT&T phone (like a specific brand) would I still be able to use it with Straight Talk? Thanks in advance!

I have the newest iPod touch, yesterday my iPod wasn't recognized on my computer, today it'll recognize it and start to sync it, saying step 1 of 7, when it gets to step 2 of 7 it gets stuck, it's backing up all of my songs or something, but it won't move on, it gets like 2 centimeters loaded, then freezes. Any idea what I can do to fix this??

I just got the new generation iPod touch yesterday. I'm trying to sync it and it's not working. I've restarted 5 times. I've re-installed iTunes 3 times. I've restarted my iPod twice. Nothing is working. iTunes won't even connect to the internet and it's taking a long time. I had to re-install the new iTunes the 10.5 or whatever one. and it's been weird ever since. Any idea as to what's wrong??

It's my friends Sweet 16 tomorrow and I want to decorate her locker but I'm not sure if the crayons will come off or not. They go on any glass surface, but I'm not sure if lockers will work. (Yes I know they are not glass, but I figured since they are smooth and 'slippery' they will) I don't want to get there tomorrow and not do anything for it because they don't. any help?? So we have a test tomorrow and we just learned scientific notation today, but I didn't understand it and couldn't ask my teacher because he was helping a kid who wasn't getting it at all, and he wasn't really helping anyone else. so the problem in my book is (4 X 10'2')'5' (the numbers with the apostrophes around them are the exponents.). my book says the answer is 1.024 X 10'13'. But I don't get how they get 1.024 from 4! I understand that they move the decimal over 3 times and you have to add that onto the exponents, but where did the 1.024 come from??

I have a 17 year old sister, she is in college already and has a car, she watches my little sister a lot and ALWAYS makes me laugh. She's the best and I love her so much! she loves art, really wants a dog, she wants a guitar but I can't really afford that, she loves music as well and coffee. I am already planning on getting her a gift card to starbucks or caribou coffee or something like that. I can't get her a puppy, because we live in an apartment, so keep that in mind, any ideas for her?

So he was really sweet, saying all this nice stuff, about how we should hang out, about how different I am from other girls.. stuff like that. well then when we were supposed to hang out at the fair we didn't because he was always around his friends and stuff.. well a week or 2 before that he just stopped texting me, then i texted him and he was like 'OMG I am so sorry i didn't text you back i've been busy with farming, and work, and just completly forgot! i really and truly am sorry' and i forgave him.. no big deal. then there was a.. miscommunication, and i called him a jerk and just forgot about him (deleted his number, and deleted him from facebook) well then I really started missing him so i f/r him again, I don't know why I did... i just did. well then I was like 'so i just wanted you to know i'm really sorry, i messed up and i felt really bad, so i just wanted you to know.' then he messaged me saying 'no it was my fault, you're right i was a jerk that day, you're honestly the coolest girl i've ever met and i really wanna hang out with you still, but if i missed my chance then i understand.' so i forgave him again, well then we started texting a little.. took him a while to reply, didn't think anything of it. well now he won't reply back to me, i don't dare talk to him on facebook. and i'm not trying to seem like some needy girl or anything but it's SO frustrating when he apologizes then just stops talking to me. do you think he's busy with work again or what's going on?? Should I just stop talking to him? He's a lifeguard so i was just thinking of going swimming sometime with a friend and seeing what would happen. Should I do this? What should I do about him? I kinda want to but i'm not sure if i should. everyone says i have a good voice, but i don't like singing in front of people, and showing off my voice (my close family and friends are the only ones who know I can even sing)! If you think i should do it what song should i sing? I'm thinking Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright or Keep Waiting by Chester See any other song you think would be great as well!! I'm thinking of asking my friend if she will sing with me just because i HATE singing by myself and being put in that position of people staring at you... :S any opinions or tips would be great!! :D

Well he CAN talk to me but not when i'm around my friends. Even when i have talked to him before without my friends being there he took a while to warm up to me and actually be able to carry a conversation with me. Why is he so shy around me? Also everyone i have asked said he isn't like that in real life AT ALL like he will not shut up (that's what people say)! Any good things to bring up when trying to talk to him? like he can talk to me over facebook and text just fine but when we meet face to face it's awkward! I really don't want it to be either since i really like him. any ideas?! my dad said it's just because he doesn't want to say the wrong thing and he's trying to impress me, but i really don't care about being impressed! Could it have to do with the fact that he wants to date me, BUT he has to ask my parents?? Is that maybe why he can't talk to me like he could to a normal girl? everyone says he must really like me since he can't talk to me and can't shut up when he's talking with anyone else, do you think that's it? thanks! :)

So my friends are always going on and on about how guys smell.... they just love the way they smell (like the hollister scent or whatever) Do you guys like the way a girl smells? Or would you prefer she didn't wear any perfume? Do you obsess over it like girls do about the way a guy smells?
