I pre ordered but haven't opened the game yet. This is the first WWE game I bought since WWE 13. The last one I played since was WWE 2k17 and I kinda liked it. I keep hearing very mixed reviews about the game and that's making me hesitate on opening it. I bought it for the Kurt Angle dlc (one of my all-time favorites) and the improved graphics and Universe mode and the expanded roster that features some people I've always wanted to see on WWE games. From those that have it, is it worth keeping?

Ok, before you start bashing me, hear me out:

This thing with The Authority has been going on FOREVER. Reigns has been screwed constantly by them, a la Daniel Bryan in 2013.

I think WWE going with a face Reigns moving forward means that there is NO WAY he can end up in a title match with his rumored opponent Brock Lesnar. Face Reigns vs. should-be-heel-but-actually-face Lesnar would be BAD. Lesnar is reaching The Rock status in that he will get cheered no matter what and his opponent will get booed.

If they want to build Reigns up as their next top face, I think him going into Mania with the title against a heel authority figure like HHH who can still go and would be going into business for himself as a "if they can t do it...I will" type of mentality.

This mindset would serve as his motivation for entering the Rumble and his allies such as Rusev, potentially Barrett and even a returning Batista could help him win and perhaps even cost Lesnar when it comes down to the last couple entrants remaining. I d personally have the Wyatts cost Lesnar the Rumble, leading to Wyatt vs. Lesnar at WM32 but I digress.

Lawson & Kenneth Faried are both reportedly frustrated with Nuggets management and may seek to be traded elsewhere. The Kings reportedly want to accelerate the rebuild and try to start winning now so they'll probably want out of the lottery. The Boston Celtics are reportedly looking to trade up in the draft to nab WCS. So how about this for the framework of a potential deal?:

Nuggets get: 6th pick (from SAC) & Darren Collison

Kings get: Lawson, 16th pick (from BOS)

Celtics get: Faried, 7th pick (from DEN)

Of course, other potential picks and players, such as Jared Sullinger/Kelly Olynyk and Wilson Chandler, would have to be tossed in to make the numbers work but I think the biggest pieces of the trade should revolve around these guys.

AND it would work for EVERYONE involved: Kings get really good PG who has history with Coach Karl and the chance to add a rotation player at 16; Celtics trade up and add two defensive anchors for their future and potentially still have a second round pick to add depth; AND Nuggets get ride of two disgruntled players and can add some talent for their future rebuild.

I REALLY think this is a HHH reference as he is known as the King of Kings AND he has a theme song that says "Bow Down to the King". It also seems like an Authority reference because the hashtag is #DownWithTheMachine and last night, Bryan sounded as if he was referring to HHH and Co. holding him down and back. IMO, Bryan joining the Wyatts will lead to Wyatt Family vs. Shield (at Elimination Chamber or WM30) and Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H (at WM30).

This is how I booked the build to the 3 matches I starred:

HHH-Bryan: After Bryan wins the Rumble and Orton barely retains the title against Cena at the Rumble, HHH is nervous that Bryan will finally win the title since Orton can't seem to beat Bryan straight up in 1-on-1 matches. Feeling like he needs to take matters into his own hands, HHH enters himself in the WWE WHC Elimination Chamber Match, claiming he'll just be in there to ensure Orton retain. It's down to the Final 3, Orton, HHH & Jericho and Jericho eliminates Orton, only for HHH to suddenly pedigree him and win the title. He would do so because of his huge ego and because he feels that the only way Bryan won't walk out of Mania as Champ is if he is the Champ himself.

Punk-Lesnar II: Lesnar returns at the Rumble during a No DQ Match between HHH vs. CM Punk and hits an F5 on Punk, allowing HHH to pick up the win. His actions would be the direct result of Paul Heyman wanting revenge on Punk for embarrassing him and beating him viciously enough to the point where he had to leave WWE, leading to a Submission match between the two at Mania, pitting the Anaconda Vise vs. the Kimura Lock

Jericho-Orton: Jericho returns either at the Rumble or the night after and confronts Orton about how it's Jericho who is the FIRST EVER Unified Champ since he beat Austin AND Rock in the same night in 2001 and that he shouldn't be disrespected because he is the Best in the World at What He Does. Orton says Jericho is an embarrassment and Orton's win at TLC against John Cena definitively erased Jericho's name from the history books. Arguments and confrontations ensue between the two and Jericho would compete for the title at EC and even eliminates Orton in the process which heats up the rivalry, leading into Mania.

I know Ultimate Warrior is a pre-order bonus but what I'm trying to figure out is:

If you DON'T pre-order the game, will Warrior still be a part of the 30 Years of Mania mode but won't be a playable character in the regular exhibition mode

OR

will he just not be on your copy of the game at all??
