So I got a ticket on the fifth of January for "following to closely". It was raining and the road was wet. I was coming down the hill and there was a car in front of me at least 7-8 feet maybe more. The lights turned yellow as the car in front approached and they looked like they were going to pass it but ultimately stopped.

I tried to brake but my brakes locked up and I could even turn out of it. I slid into their car. The first officer arrived and said because of where it happened (in the intersection) it's out of his jurisdiction and a state trooper had to come. Another state trooper showed up but before anyone was asked anything he sped off after some guy that was speeding on the road. So once he left the other cop that had pulled up first and got everyone's information and then in front of both of us he asked what happened. I spoke up and said that the light turned yellow and they stopped, but my brakes locked up. The other guy didn't say anything and the officer went to his car. Fifteen minutes later the cop let the other guy I slid into go and then I had to stay longer. He gave me my ticket and that was that.

Just now, I checked how much it was worth (because it hadn't posted until today) and the fine is 229 dollars + a 15 dollar processing fee. Is this worth disputing? The cost seems kind of high, there was little to no damage to the other car and the state troopers and local sheriffs were the only ones that showed up (total of 4 cars). I thought 240+ dollars was a crazy amount to charge.

So I booted up my computer at 10:00 EST today. I got a prompt that I need to run Start Up Repair. I did and a screen popped up after about 45 minutes called HP Recovery. It had several options and the first I selected was to back up my files. I am now currently copying 10.5 GB of my personal files over to a 15GB flash drive.

My question is that, will my computer be okay? Will I have to buy a new one or reformat this one?

Basically I had one but I never found the time to practice. It's long expired (Aug 2010) and I would like to go and get another one. Am I able to?

In my state (Georgia) it asks for:

- A Certified Birth Certificate

- A Social Security Card

- Certificate of School Attendence

- and 10 bucks.

The only problem is that I'm in College now so. . . I don't think I can get a Certificate of Attendence.

I wanted to become a doctor and on a few sites, authors have suggested that pre-med degrees aren't always nesscary to become a doctor. It said I could major in a Science. What does that mean and what would I have to do for that?

I'm having some trouble coming up with the requirements to be an Internal Medicine doctor. Please if you could shed some light, i'd really be thankful. Also, could just provide a link to where you got it to check for more information that I need? Thanks.

So basiclly i'm a senior in high school in Georgia. My parents are having problems with each other and their marriage, leaving me to basiclly do all the work. I have no idea what i'm doing and i'm running out of time. My parents, when they can talk, don't know what to do. My friends are also to busy to help me out. THIS IS SERIOUSLY MY ONLY HELP OPTION. I just need to know how to apply to the college like University of Georgia or any good colleges. PLEASE DON'T SAY COLLEGE BOARD OR ASK THE COUNSLERS i've already tried those paths and have failed to reap the benifits. Thanks
