I have a '93 Toyota Corolla Wagon. It doesn't seem to be running really well and I'd just like to get a point in the right direction. I have replaced the O2 sensor and the Fuel Filter so far. Problem is:

On startup after it has been sitting for a while it fires up no problem, but will stall unless I give it a little gas. Sometimes I have to start it once, other times 2 or 3 times before it will idle nicely without stalling. Once I get moving, it is VERY slow to accelerate. I can floor it and it will not accelerate any faster than just giving it just enough gas to speed up. When i'm driving on the highway, and there is even a slight grade in the road uphill, I loose speed and cannot even speed up if i shift down. Flooring it does nothing. Once in a while the car will chug and jerk briefly. Sometimes the car will stall for a moment and the lightson the instrument cluster will turn on as if the car is just turned to the on position, but a moment later it will fire back to life and I can continue to slowly drive down the road. The check engine light is turned on.

ANY HELP AT ALL would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I'm a broke college student and can't afford a mechanic for a car I only paid $350 for!

I wrote this song with a particular girl in mind. She is in one of my classes. I don't even know if she knows my name, but I know hers and she is awesome. I want to somehow try to give her this song I wrote anonymously, and just put a note in the CD case that says that this song is for her and that its just from her secret admirer. The note may also read that if she wants to know who its from....then i'll come up with something like meet me somewhere on campus or give her my phone number. Anyways, what do you all think????

I wrote an essay on Othello. In describing how one may view Othello through his words, I wrote the sentence.

"Again as seen in Othello's dialect, he is shown to be a person someone viewers or readers alike can look up to for his patience and understanding."

Apparently DIALECT is the wrong word to use. What is the right word??

I was playing fetch with my dog and the stick hit his head and his eye is bleeding. Is there anything I should do besides buy him a big treat? He seems ok and his eye is open. The eye itself doesn't look damaged and it looks ok, just a little bloody and swollen around the lower lid.
