i got a 8 month male great dane pup. feeding raw since about a month. hes about 31" high at the shoulders and weighs 48kgs (106lbs). he gets about 1.5kg(3.3lbs) meat a day.

how often can i feed him fish(raw sardines)? i roughly average his meats, proportions etc over a week

now i give him about 3 days a week chicken,2 days beef and 2 days fish.

feeding fish will be a little cost effective,

so can i feed it more frequently ?

he gets to go for a walk 3 or 4 times a day. slow pace. about 20 mins each.( he still poops atleast 3 times a day) and hes fed on raw meat- gets about 1.5kgs(3.3lbs) meat a day.

i want to know if hes getting enough exercise or more than he needs - for his age, breed etc.

HOW DO U WALK UR DOG ? ( on leash)

do you keep on walking non stop without pausing ?

or do u let the dog sniff around and wait for him to come to you and resume walking ?

mine likes to sniff everything a lot and keeps stopping non stop.

should i start to make him HEEL and walk non stop ? he will heel on command most of the time.

i have a choke chain and i do know how to use it. (hes a little stubborn)

i just started my great dane pup on raw food.

he gets sardines once a week.

thankfully he likes it.

can i continue to feed it raw ?

or should i boil the fish before feeding ?

hes about 48 kgs(106 lbs) now and 30" high at the shoulders.

since he eats a lot and hes going to get a lot heavier (his Sire is 38"high) im feeding him chicken and sardines(once a week) to be a little cost effective.

he gets about 1.5 kgs (3.3 lbs)meat per day - chicken 6 days a week and sardines once.

its a little less than 2% of his estimated Adult weight of 80 kgs (175 lbs)

he also gets about a liter of milk and one boiled egg a day. a little yoghurt sometimes.

1. is this diet going to be enough for him ?

2. since he is a giant breed pup what % of his estimated weight should i feed him ? am i feeding him enough or more than he needs ? ( no noticable change in his girth over the week)

3. should i add any supplements ?

4. Plz advice so i can give him a balanced meal

i just started feeding him raw chicken @ 2% of his body weight.

since he eats a lot and is going to get a lot heavier ( his sire is about 38" high) chicken is a little cost effective compared to other meats.

is only chicken enough for him ?

do i need to feed the entire bird including the skin, intestines ?

should i add rice/ other grains or any vegetables ?

do i need to add any supplements like vitamins/ calcium ?

Please advice so i can give him a balanced diet.

some eastern religious or spiritual concepts/ views of God -

our conciousness is God.

i am God. you are God.

you and i are part of one God.

everything and everyone is God.

Abrahamic (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) concept of God - a seperate singular identity responsible for creating and controlling everything and everyone.

the most basic thing about the monotheistic Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity, Islam.

theres "Only one true path to God" or the even stupid thing to say - "Only one true God and the other Gods are false Gods or demons ".

this belief divides people and makes them think they are superior to others. whether they say it openly or not . or they are just in denial.

for ex: a believer would mildly say- the others have yet to learn the truth.

an illiterate, poor "redneck" farmer thinks he is better than a japanese rocket scientist.

this is the main reason for the intolerance and issues in the western religions.

the eastern religions never "divide" people.

well im putting it a little strongly. but it looks like the fundamental Christians,which number in millions, have recognized the oppurtunity here.

lots of christian missionaries under the guise of charity (the southern baptist movement being the major group) are trying to convert all Iraqis to Christianity, not openly ofcourse, with permission from the US government.

in a culture where someone converting from Islam to another religion is sentenced to death, it will lead to many deaths. and the missionaries say that they are aware it may cause many deaths, but saving them from hell for all eternity is a good deal.

Many people are aware of the religion and politics mixing here. And

this issue is going to blow up in the future and may lead to an organised all out war in my opinion.

ofcourse do research yourself to know what the truth is.

and dont believe in everything the media says is true.

Considering the Roman catholic church and MANY denominations of Christianity accept Evolution etc. the Roman catholics even accept the theory of Big bang as a possible explanation for the expansion of universe.

it is about spirituality, philosophies and it rejects religious doctrine too.

for example - spiritual gurus like Deepak Chopra, Ekhart Tolle, etc etc.

well this says your consciousness is God and talks about how it relates to others and all life, how we percieve the world etc etc

hes 6 months old now

he weighs 36 kgs (about 80 pounds)

and hes about 29 " high at the withers.

he has a good pedigree from german and UK lines.

im feeding him according to his age and weight and trying to keep him a little on the leaner side so as not to put much strain on his growing joints. but hes always hungry.

he looks healthy though. can only see his last 1or 2 ribs when hes standing.

So is he good for his age ? i mean his height and weight ?

can you suggest any good Great Dane web links to compare him with others ???

well global warming is a fact whether we want to accept it or not.

the debate mostly is about whether mankind is responsible for it(Anthropogenic Global Warming) or its a natural phenomenon.

theres lots of evidence supporting that mankind is responsible for the current global warming. and 98% of all climate scientists agree on that.

the reason im asking this is i heard that some still think global warming is false(mostly creationists).

and its mostly Americans who say that its false or if they accept it, its not caused by mankind.
