They're regular canvas bloch shoes and i bought them around november and one has already 2 holes. Do they get damaged that easily? Is there anything i can do to prevent the holes from getting bigger? I saw a video about how to fix pointe shoes and they were burning the edges with a lighter, would that work in such a case? I can't afford to buy new shoes so soon!

I don't remember hitting it or anything (although i may have injured it during dancing classes) but it doesn't hurt/have a weird colour or anything. Yet there seems to be a void in the base. What can i do to prevent it from falling off and what might have caused it?

We're figuring out a contemp choreography and i want to add some lifts, but i'm not sure whether he can lift me or not (i'm 120 pounds but still) and i don't want to come off as inconsiderate. I'm gonna ask him what he can or can't do, but can you give me any insight?

I'll probably have to go to a dermatologist for a rash on my elbow, but I have self harm scars on my forearm. They're from scratching, so they're not very obvious, but if he notices, will he ask questions? Cause my mom is gonna be there too, and i don't want her to know....

And please, don't say it would be better if they know. Just tell me if it's his business to comment on my scars.

I mean REALLY easily. Every time someone says something about me (even if it's not that bad, even if they have good intentions), every time I get a little stressed or frustrated, I end up sobbing. I hate it, I seem really weak, and sensitive (ok, I am, I just don't want everyone to know that). Besides, it's my senior year, and I'm gonna be really stressed and I'll have to study a lot, and I won't have time to waste crying. So.... any tips to help me harden up? :)

I'm going to stop dancing for a year, since it's my senior year in high school and I want to focus on my exams. I've been dancing latin/ballroom/tango for 2 years and I really want to continue when I get into university. The point is, I've tried really hard this year and made it to the advanced class, with people who have been dancing 5 to 10 years. I'm really scared that, next year, I won't be as good as I was this yer and I'll have to start all over again, from a beginners class. Is it possible? Of course, I will try not to forget the basic and stuff, it's just that I can't practice dancing with a guy on my own, and I'm pretty scared I'll forget what I learned...

I have done jazz, latin and hip hop, but never had enough time to try ballet. I want to start once I finish high school, but I've heard it's pretty hard to get en pointe then...

I have -4.00 and I can't really see anything without my glasses. I'm scared to swim with contacts (I have been told that you shouldn't get water in your eyes when you wear them) and I can't wear my glasses either. I used to wear my sunglasses but they're not really comfortable when you swim either. I'm going with my friends away next weekend and I'm scared I'm gonna make a fool of myself if I can't see anything... :$

I've been dancing latin for a couple of years and we have a show in a few months. I'm in a teen class and, since we don't have enough partners my class is going to have a potpourri. In the tango part, we're going to be, you know, pretending we're holding partners, with our hands in the air. I really hate such choreogrpahies and I'm thinking not to take part in the show. I mean... we're not 10 years old, we're 16-17. It looks lame, in my opinion. So, what do you think?

I'm dancing latin and jazz and we are now preparing for a show... We are working on a choreography and I'm scared because I think that I might not be able to do some of the moves (I have arthritis). I was thinking to tell my teacher to change the choreography a little bit at those parts, so that I'll be able to perform too, but I don't know if that's an appropriate thing to ask (like, changing moves just because of me.....? :$). So, do you think that I should ask her, if I have a problem, or should I just quit from that choreography?

I went to a dancing school for 2 years, because it offered good hip hop classes. Then it stopped offering them, so I changed schools. I went to another one for two years and started latin as well. Now I decided to quit hip hop. I found another school which has great latin classes though. My mom said that it's gonna seem pretty weird if I change dancing schools every two years. I think she might be right, but I really wanna go to that school. Is it really that bad?

I asked for acuve and the idiot over there gave me some "contaview" stuff and he told me that they're the new by johnson's. Are they good, or should I return them? I have chronic allergic conjunctivitis and my doctor said I should wear either B&M or acuve....

He's 17, he reads fantasy books, eragon and stuff. I was thinking to buy him "Under the dome" by stephen king or something, but I'm not sure if this is a suitable book for teenagers.. what do you think?

I asked my doctor and she said here's nothing wrong. It doesn't hurt or anything but people keep telling me that ny eyes are red. Plus it seems pretty ugly... :/ it's right on the point where i remove my contacts. Is there anything i can do about it?
