I've been at a treatment center for two months, and just got our 10 days ago. I didn't have the ability to go back to work immediately (and I wasn't scheduled or anything - I got fired essentially) because my brother had a wedding and I had to recuperate to being back in the "real world." My HR guy wants paperwork that proved I was in treatment for the whole time I was gone, but It only covers from the day I left to 10 days ago. Does he have the right to not give me my job back?

When i hurt myself (hitting my head usually) they grab me really hard and hold me and pull my hair to make me stop . i dont know what to do about it

I just introduced me new rats and they almost immediately started grooming and cuddling with each other. I'm now worried for their health or anything, but is this a normal behavior? I'm positive they have never met before, but they are both from the same pet store. I also put them together in one cage. Is that okay, even th ough they seem to like eachother? They haven't really fought ywt, just scuffled.

if someone's who's a vegan has or knows somebody who has chickens/goats/cows would it be appropriate to use their milk and eggs if you know they're treated right and cared for?

It happens when i just stand up or after ive been standing for a while. It seems random, but it only happens when im on my legs. It happens very often too, at least once a month, but sometimes several times a week, it varies. It's been happening for about 2 or 3 years (that i can remember) but only now has it gotten more common.

I got karkat, (and her cagemate) in october, and even after like seven months she is still scared. Her cagemate, from the same place the petstore got karkat from, is totally fine with me and runs to the cage door when shes awake for treats and play, but when i walk into the room karkat hides in her hammock. When i manage to get her out she runs through my fingers and tried to get into the cage. she doesn't poop or pee at all when she's out, she accepts treats and bathes sometimes, but her heart beats so fast and shes on her hind legs the whole time looking like shes about to die. what is her problem

My hairless (double rex at least(i think)) rat has ruby eyes and often has porphyrin around them but she cleans them often and seems normal. shes cuddly and shes not very sneezy (when she does sneeze it might be due to stress ( i think thats real). could she have eye problems?

Humans can eat lilacs, and I have a little tree outside that grows a lot of lilacs and I had a little bouquet of them inside and one of my rats may have had a nibble. I got it out of her mouth but she was freaking out over it and loved it! So I was wondering if I can give some to her

I'm making a platform for my rats, and I'm honestly not sure what kind of wood I'm using yet. I might end up using plywood. I know that cedar and pine shavings are bad for rats, because of the dust and toxins or whatever, but are plain blocks of wood bad for them if they end up chewing it to shreds? And if I do use plywood, would that be bad for them too?
