Ever since I was little, my father abused me physically and emotionally. He would hit me with wooden sticks, belt buckles, smash my head and gave me a concussion then lied to the police saying that he didn't.

I haven't spoken to him in two years... All of a sudden my mom tells me that she wants me to come to a wedding party with them and that my father wants to make mends.. I want to, but at the same time I can't let go of the pain he has caused me. Should I go to the wedding party?

I m going to give my friend a moon charged crystal wrapped necklace that is going to help him heal from past traumas such as abuse, feelings of neglect, unhappiness, loneliness etc. I would say rose quartz, but I want to know my other options.

I had my navel piercing pierced 2-3 times, and my inverse navel 2x. I want to do my navel again (the last time I did it was 2 years ago) and there is barely a scar. I tried stainless steel the first time and implant grade titanium the next and it still rejected. What are other options in piercing my belly button? I have heard about the j-curved bars and the bioplast bars as well. What do you prefer? Thank you

My mom and I have a troubled relationship. I have gone through child abuse in the past, which made me hate her and swear to never call her my mother again. She also hated me because of the way I look (I have more of a "daring" look, so to speak).

But lately I feel like she is trying to save and hold onto the little relationship we have. She started making me breakfast and if I come home early she would give me dinner. We also communicate a little now, and she is starting to accept the way I look.

Last night I had a dream that my mom and I were happy and when I woke up I felt happy and loved.

This Thanksgiving, I will not be celebrating the holidays with them because my dad had scarred my life forever.

But what can I do to show her I still want a relationship with her and still love her so much?

We are both awkward in person, so should I just text her I love you.? Or buy her something nice and a well written card explaining that I still love her.?

A few weeks ago, my dad hit me and the cops were notified. They interviewed us all and my parents lied and said they never abused me (when I was abused all my life), then I accidently wrote in the victim statement "my dad makes me suicidal". They sent me to the hospital that did nothing to help, they sent me home and I went back to live with my parents (the police did not arrest my dad, they believed I was mentally unstable and had no proof). Ever since, child protective services sent me to see a psychiatrist, which scheduled me to see a therapist in the upcoming weeks. But now that I'm back with my family, I've grown increasingly nervous. I usually leave early in the morning and come home at 8pm because I don't want to see my parents. When I'm home, I get scared for no reason I get really paranoid. My dad has threatened to kill me before. My family would leave me every night for an hour with him alone in the house. I get scared and lock my bedroom door. My heart beat races at night. I start getting scared and nervous my dad is gonna come beat me again. What is wrong with me? And I get scared for no reason, I start thinking of ominous situations. And I just break down. What is wrong with me?

Hi I'm getting my belly button pierced tomorrow and I have a few questions.

1. On a scale of 1-10 how much does it hurt? Should I take an Advil/painkiller a little while before getting pierced?

2. How is the piercer supposed to clean the needle and jewelry etc. (Sorry I'm very big in cleanliness.)

3. Do we buy the jewelry and bring to them or they have a set? Do we get to pick the jewelry? Ring or curved barbell? And size?

4. About how much does it cost?

Particularly in new york city.?

5. How do they pierce it? With a clamp and without.?

Whenever I dye my hair using whatever hair dye box, it never shows up, except in the sun....

When I went to the hair salon to do it I didn't need to bleach my hair. I did it red and the color went nicely on.

What am I doing wrong :'c

Is it just the difference between hair dyes?(I've noticed that the salons used different hair dyes.) Or is it just something I did wrong?

PS I'm asian with dark brown hair.

Oh and also my friend is Asian too. She didn't need to bleach her virgin hair and it came out to a nice light brown color. I hope I didn't do it wrong I leave it in for a half hour :c

I don't wanna tell the whole story about my family... Its too personal and painful. All I'm going to say is that I'm 14 and I live in NYC, and my friend's mom agreed. Can my parents force me to move back in with them? Can I refuse?

I've had my piercings since I was a baby and they've been pierced with a gun so probably an 18g?

Some people say they can, others say no?

PS if I did have to stretch I would do it to a 12g or 10g. How can I stretch my ears without tapers? I've done research but I might as well ask a question myself lol.

Today is my breaking point. I can't take her much longer.

So what happened today was, we had a Chinese test. She's paranoid about people cheating so she makes people put their book bags in the front of the room. She also "checked" several people too (one being me because I am the absolute hated of her students). She pulled on my sleeve forcefully while I had already offered to roll them up.... She did it to my other friend too. Also, my other friend had her head down and my teacher thought that she was cheating. I don't know why but she yanked on my friend's necklace BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT IT WAS A PIECE OF PAPER. That's how blind she is.

Other days:

-she neglects her students; she doesn't even listen to our ideas. She yells the whole period at us just for whispering to our friends

-she curses and offends me in Chinese (translated by my friend because I'm just sitting here while she's yelling at me in Chinese; NOT UNDERSTANDING HER AT ALL)

-i just whispered to my friend "what does the board say?" And my teacher said " YOU HAVE NO COMMON SENSE (aka stupid)" I argued with her (being the ***** towards her I am) saying that she can't just say that to her students that SHE was the one with issues and she took points off my grade..

-whenever the whole class gets noisy, she has to yell at ME and take points off MY grade!?

-most people have issues with her but won't complain because they're scared

-shes blind as **** if somebody takes out their phone and text on top of the table (no texting policy) she won't even notice

-she has bad English BAD with a terrible accent

-she switches from traditional Chinese to simplified Chinese while the criteria is only supposed to be only simplified, even thought she can't even teach the lesson properly.

Any ideas?
