Can Smugmug tell if someone screen shotted an image on their site?
I accidentally hit screen shot while a copyrighted image was on my browser (yes, I did delete the shot). Considering it still had the Smugmug logo on it and I didn t copy the image, is there anything else I should expect from this?

8 AnswersOther - Canada5 years agoAre social norms mostly an emotional thing?
As someone with Asperger's, I struggle with social norms. I've started to get the idea that social norms are largely determined by emotions. People don't *think* about norms most of the time, certain things just feel right so people do them.
Does this sound accurate to you?
1 AnswerPsychology5 years agoWhy don't people correct others when they break social norms?
I have Asperger's Syndrome, and I struggle with social norms. I've noticed that people break social norms all of the time, but rarely do people tell others when they've broken norms. They will usually judge others when they've broken norms, but not say anything.
Why don't people tell others when they've broken social norms, if they expect others to follow them?

45 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoHow do we know that Paul didn't just make up that Jesus spoke with him?
Paul is said to have become a good person after he supposedly spoke with Jesus, but I don't see how that's proof that Jesus had spoken to him. By that logic anyone could become a prophet if they were a bad person but became good and claimed that God had spoken with them.
So how does Paul have any authority to be a prophet? No miracles, God never directly spoke to anyone else, how do we know he wasn't just making up that Jesus spoke to him so he could get attention?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoHow did the concept of the messiah become the savior?
As Jewish prophecy shows, the messiah will be someone who, among other things, brings peace on earth, gathers all of the Jews back to Israel, and has the whole world recognize God. There is no need for a redeemer of sins - Yom Kippur is already there for that. And as Ezekiel says, no man can redeem another man's sins.
So where did this idea that the messiah redeemed us for our sins come from? A redeemer for sin was never prophecized in any of the Messianic prophecies.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy is the trinity considered sacred doctrine if it's never in the Bible?
The Council of Nicaea, under Roman Emperor Constantine, decided that the church would teach that God existed in a trinity. Constantine just decided this to get political favor from those who agreed with the idea of the trinity. So from then on most churches taught that God existed in a trinity - despite this never being in the Bible in the first place. Isn't this heresy?
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoHow fast should the average man go up in bench pressing?
Assuming no steroid use, exercising every other day, and getting plenty of lean protein along with sleep, how long should it take the average man to see his bench press maximum go up by ten pounds or so?
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoIf a girl can bench press 200 pounds, is she probably on steroids?
I heard about a girl who could, and it made me wonder if she was using steroids. Do you think that a girl who can bench press that much is probably not doing so naturally?
4 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoHow is Jesus the messiah if there is still war in the world?
I m reading the messianic prophecies, and they say pretty clearly that the messiah will end war when he comes. Some say Jesus is the messiah, but there is still war. So how can Jesus be the messiah if there is still war?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoMuslims - how do you know that the Quran is authentic?
I know it is believed to be God's complete and perfect word, I'm just not seeing evidence for this statement. As far as I know, when Mohammad (PBUH) was asked for a miracle to prove that God sent him, he responded that the Quran was his miracle.
But couldn't anyone bring some writing and claim that God sent them to preach it?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy do you have to believe in Jesus for him to be your savior?
I'm reading over Christianity and one idea that still doesn't make sense to me is why do you have to accept Jesus in order to receive salvation? Couldn't Jesus's death have taken the penalty for everyone regardless of whether or not they accepted Jesus as their savior?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoCan someone please explain the trinity of Christianity to me?
It says in the Bible that worshipping anything but God is a sin. The Bible also says that God is one being, and nothing else. So how am I expected to then worship a God that exists in a trinity? Wouldn't God make it clear to people that there is only one God, and not leave us wondering whether or not we are worshipping idols by saying there is a trinity? The trinity itself is never mentioned in the Bible.
38 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoI'm confused, isn't it jumping the gun to say that Jesus is the messiah?
The Old Testament clearly gives a list of requirements for the messiah. Among them are ending war, rebuilding the Third Temple of Solomon, and gathering all of the Jews back to Israel. Jesus didn't do any of these. I suppose he could do them in the future, but isn't it too soon to declare him the messiah because he hasn't done these?

2 AnswersFacebook6 years agoDo non-Christians really all go to Hell?
I've been told that choosing to believe in Christ is the only way to heaven, but belief isn't a choice. You don't just choose what you believe in. So that would mean that God sends people to Hell over things they don't control. And would he really send people to Hell just over a misinterpretation?
