  • Time travel: What would you have seen?

If time travel were possible, and knowing you would have no affect on the events, what would you like to have seen, and why?

  • Time Travel: What would you like to have seen?

If time travel were possible, and knowing that you would in no way alter the course of events, what historical event or thing would you like to see, and why?

  • Are we heading into another world wide war?

Look at the evidence and recent history:

    1) Russian actions in Crimea and eastern Ukraine

    2) The U.S. restocking pre-positioned military equipment in Norway.

    3) NATO to begin combat air patrols over Latvia

    4) China becoming more assertive with disputed territory claims

    5) The disintegration of functional, stable governments in countries in the Middle East and Africa

    6) Expansion of radical, terrorist organizations across the same regions

    7) The U.S. engagement in wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, their withdraw, and now new military action in the same countries

    8) Increasing cyber warfare activity conducted against western business, organizations and governments believed to be conducted by the Chinese People's Liberation Army

Call me crazy, but I think we are actually in the early, low intensity days of WW3. Comments?

  • What's the stupidest baby name you've heard?

I'm collecting weird, but real, baby names. I am totally amazed by what people name their children, especially celebrities. For example: Bronx Mowgli (son of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz) or Zuma (son of Gwen Stephanie and Gavin Rossdale – isn’t Zuma a drink?). Let me know what you've seen or heard, but remember, they need to be real and list at least on parent. Thanks!

  • Need help with Royals names?

OK, I'm a bit confused and need some help on this one. I just read that Prince Harry is leaving his job as a helicopter pilot with the Royal Navy. A Navy spokesman referred to him as "Captain Wales". The Captain part is obviously his rank in the Navy, but what's up with "Wales"? His father, Charles, is the Prince of Wales. His grandfather, Prince Phillip, is a Mountbatten. The Queen's housename is Windsor. So where does Wales come from? Does the British royal family actually have a common family surname?

  • I'm moving to Birmingham, AL soon. Any suggestions on fun things to do there?

Also, any suggestions on best/worst areas to look for a place to live (aside from downtown)?
