  • How do you clean a rope necklace?

I have a necklace made of some sort of rope (it's synthetic, since the knots have melted ends) with an aluminum pendant on it. I've been wearing it for about 5 years and while it does get cleaned when I shower and such, over the years the rope has accumulated what I can only assume is dead skin that I can squeeze out. Is there any way to wash it? I can take the necklace off for washing (it has a slip knot) and I've tried hand washing it with hand soap and laundry soap with little to no success. I poured some hydrogen peroxide on it once and it fizzed a bunch but I'm not really sure how much it helped... Any suggestions?

  • Why isn't this category under "family and relationships"?

Shouldn't it be there? Since the "LGB" relates to relationships, and the "T" doesn't actually have anything to do with sexuality, so it should probably be in a separate category anyway?

  • Should I go back to the dentist to look at my filling?

I just got a filling, so I'm actually still partly numb, but when I was there they had me bite down and tell me if it felt normal, and I honestly couldn't tell because I was still pretty numb, but now that it's starting to wear off a bit, I feel like I might not be able to touch my teeth together properly (the tooth with the filling and the one above it).

Should I see about going back to the dentist?

i have fire, ice, weather control, magnetism, poison, shapeshifting, speed, water, laser eyes, mind control, plant control, terrakinesis, necromancy, and light.

  • Harry Potter wand ownership?

okay, so we all know about how the elder wand was transferred (sort of) and we all know that a main theme in book seven was about the how a wand not belonging to a wizard won't work as well for him. so obviously the ownership rules apply to all wands and not just the elder wand. if all this is true, then who owns who's wand? the members of the DA disarmed each other numerous times. and what spells "defeat" a wizard? obviously expelliarmus and avada kedavra, but what about stupefy? the jelly-legs jinx? transfiguration? what about hitting someone with an ax? does that defeat them? do they have to let go of their wand to be defeated? because in that case, crouch jr. defeated harry so the holly-and-pheonix wand shouldn't have worked as well for him after book 4. but it still did.

    any ideas?

  • What do you guys think of my Harry Potter theory?

okay, according to the pheonix countdown issue of the hp sleuthing books (analysis of books 1-4) they have evidence that st. mungos is bad and probably ensuring that lockheart and frank and alice longbottom don't recover. in book 5, when harry and the others meet neville and his parents at st. mungos, alice gives her son a droobles blowing gum wrapper, and mrs. longbottom tells neville that he should just throw it in the bin because she's given him enough to wallpaper his room. what if she is somehow communicating or at least trying to communicate with neville by giving him gum wrappers, or maybe even writing on them to tell him that st. mungos is bad????????? (its less messed up that some theories ive read...)
