PhiloMind
This is my Y/A! profile. I answer questions that I find interesting. I mostly answer questions that deal with mathematics or geography/travel. I have a very high best answer percentage due to the fact that I provide the best answers possible. Music is a very important part of my life. I enjoy listening to all genres from all different eras, although I am more fond of hip-hop/R&B. I have five year's experience with playing the Trumpet and I am a Junior in my high school's symphonic band. I love music because it is a universal language that touches the emotional aspects of our lives and brings us together. I also really enjoy mathematics, geography, traveling, writing, video games, architecture, engineering, sports, being with people I care about, and being the best person I can be. My name, PhiloMind, means "mind of a philosopher". "Philo" comes from the word philosopher, and "Mind" comes from the word mind.
Why are people no longer liking our Instagram posts?
I run an Instagram account with three other people. We usually recieve an average of 30-50 likes per post but over the past few days we have been getting only 5-6 likes per post. I have not been able to figure out the problem. We have been gaining followers. Our account is not private. We use the same tags we have always used. This is not good.
1 AnswerOther - Internet5 years agoHow would I write the outline for my research paper?
I'm doing a research paper on how raising minimum wage would hurt the economy. I want to talk about who it would affect and how. Any ideas on how to make the outline?

1. What is Palestine, and why is it not on the map?
2. What is the West Bank and who does it belong to?

The whole geography of this area is really confusing to me.
14 AnswersIsrael8 years agoDo music stores have (trumpet) 3rd valve slide rings in stock?
I was wondering if some music stores carry them or if you would have to order or something... I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

3 AnswersLanguages8 years agoI need an expert on foreign coins?
I found this **** amongst my coin stash, and now I'm wondering how much this coin is worth, and maybe some history behind it. It's a 1974 Belgique one cent coin. I also demand to know what the FR on the coin means. If you do not have the knowledge (which is sad because it's the absolute LOWEST level of blooms taxonomy) to answer ALL PARTS of this question, DON'T bother answering, because you will be wasting your time as well as MINE! I know it's from Belgium, so that's a start...

At least let Kansas State have something. The only thing Kansas has going for itself is a bunch of flatass land.
2 AnswersGeography8 years agoGAY and CHRISTIAN? MuSt SeE!?
I am Agnostic so I am not biased toward either side. There might also be a few grammatical errors in this writing, so just bare with it.
Let me start off by saying that I see a lot of **** here on the internet about Atheists and Christians going at each other, and one of the main points they argue about is homosexuality. On one side you have Atheists calling the Bible and Jesus bullshit while you have Christians calling homosexuality a sin and telling gays that they are going to hell.
I actually find this a bit odd since quite a bit (most, not all) of the gay people that I have had the pleasure to come in contact with during my short life claimed to be Christians. I also have observed that most Christians I have come in contact with either support gay rights or could care less either way.
Is this typical? Seriously, is this typical?
Do most "real life" Christians not have a problem with gay people?
Keep in mind, Lady Gaga and Barrack Obama are Christian and support gay rights.
Also, I have no problem with Atheists or Christians. I just burn up around Christian fundies and those intolerant Atheists.
7 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agoGeneral vs Honors vs AP Diploma?
Is there really any difference between a general and an honors diploma? Several of my teachers have told me that colleges look at GPA and ACT/SAT scores (SAT for you Yankees), not what type of diploma it is. I believe that because in my state they are doing away with general classes and moving everyone up to honors. I took all honors last year and I take almost all general this year. The only difference that I have found in honors and general classes is that honors kids do more work. Just ignore the AP part. Please, only Americans answer this question.
