What are the specs for the power cord for a Compaq Presario 57. can I use a universal adapter?
I lost my power cord for my dual core lap top Compaq Presario 57. I'm in Panama and am wondering if I can buy a universal adapter/power cord/ battery charger. I need to know the watts, imput etc.

at startup and none of the controls work. can't open the tray, can't turn the power off, etc. tried unplugging and no luck. even when it's not connected to a tv it doesn't do anything but "hello" across the lcd, for hours if left plugged in. any ideas besides a huge repair bill or trash it? the MODEL # DRC 8335

This land contract is on a commercial piece of property (not yet operational business) and it required a balloon payment. I would like to keep this as civil as possible and not incur large legal fees. But the buyer will not respond to my phone calls and is two months late with the final payment, What is the procedure to regain possession of the property? The property is in Wisconsin.

My ph is low, 6.6 or so when I add sodium carbonate to my pool the ph increaser, turns a yellowish and I get a film on the top of the pool that falls out usually within a few hours, yet my ph does not increase much if any. I have a low cl level too.
