to go to a church building due to sickness or whatever reason??

I could have been miss digonised and at what cost to me?

A family Dr. found I had diabetes when I was 35. Been told I was 'borderline' since I was 16. My blood sugars have been crazy between 300 and 540 since I became real sick last month. Went to a Diabetis specialist last week and they told me I have had this at least since I was a teen and I'm type 1 not type 2. I've got to learn a whole new ball game now. I'm in kidney failure and congestive heart failure also. Any one know what I can do to help my body get straightened out??

I'm just wondering how people explain away Women being Pastors over a church (not preachers but pastors), having more than 1 wife (divorced), ect.. ect.. when the Bible says this??

just look at all the silly people and the different animals. And what some of them look like!!

doesn't it speak of in the Bible about speaking in another language when you receive the Holy Ghost? And then there is tongues and interpretation that is for the good of the church. (I know of a fantastic example of this) Then there is your prayer closet praying which when you get so deep into prayer there is nothing there but you and God things flow naturally into tongues.

Paul said he spoke more in tongues than all men.

Why do most of you see at as foolish?? I don't understand??

im waiting on someone to come and get me but they have just taken my husband to the hospital sounds like his heart please please pray!!!!!!!

I have raised our 15 yr old grand daughter from the day she came home from the hospital. The first couple yrs it was just she and I and I did have her rotten. My husband drove a truck and was only home week ends. When she was 4 I had to take her 2 yr old cousin. When the 15 yr old turned 12 it was like a light went off and she did a 360 turn. She has selpt with boys, drank and smoked dope. Right now she she says she is in church and 'shouts' every service. She goes when she gets ready and she stays with her best friend most of the time. If I try to talk to her she yells at me. She refuses to even keep her room picked up. Last night she was raving mad at me because I didn't have any money to give her and let me me have it with both barrells. The things she said to me hurt more than anything. She told me it was my place to get her money. I'm on disability (288$) a mo. I'm unable to physically restrain her. I love her and need to know what I can do!! Please any ideas are welcomed!

I know that is where we are to come together to worship but isn't the building more than that???

My church (the pastor) gets ragged because we don't have a building fund going or a bank account drawing intrust or programs going ALL the time to make money for the church!!! I just don't get it??

we're a small church, building paid for, we have free programs to help the community, we have dinners for the people in the programs and a few of us volenteer our time and cooking skills. When there is a funeral we are there three days (sometimes 2) and keep the coffee going cook a meal for the family after the funeral. We do this for everyone if they need us to not just members.

we don't run programs, even to S.S. class, it is whatever God lays upon the teachers heart that is taught.

I guess I'm venting a little but I really don't understand what the church is there for?? Any one know???

I read on here where 99.9% of Christians do not read the Bible and quote what they have heard or somebody elsa told them. How true do you think that is??

I guess I would have to be in the 00.1%. To me the Bible is a road map to heaven and unless you read it and go the way it tells you do, how can anyone get where they have never been without The road map???

I think it means not to start any trouble with anyone over what they believe or don't believe, but I'd like to have some other views!
