I'm the mother of six wonderful kids (11, 10, 6, 6, 3, 1) and one on the way

  • Websites where I can talk to other mums or mums to be?

I have six kids with one on the way and I'm a stay at home mum so I don't get a lot of opportunity to speak to anyone older than 12. I want to find somewhere online where I can meet other mums or mums to be. Can anyone suggest any?

  • What could this red mark be?

My niece (18) is staying with us and we discovered a mark towards the bottom of her neck. It's red and looks like a welt but she says it doesn't hurt. We noticed it two days ago and she thought it might have been from the chiropractor but yesterday it was longer. It looks almost like a long mosquito bite but she says that it hasn't been itchy. What could it be?

  • Should I homeschool my son?

My family is about to move over ten hours away and second oldest son has asked if he can be homeschooled when we move. I know he hates school (which is upsetting because he loves learning). He hates how loud everyone is and that he doesn't have any friends. He is on the spectrum but only barely. His schoolwork has really suffered because of how much he dislikes school and I think that if I homeschool him, he'll do better academically but I'm concerned about how it will affect him socially. He doesn't have any friends at his old school and I want him to be able to make some friends down there but he can't if he isn't going to be around any kids. I also think it might be good because my husband is sick so it will allow them to spend a bit more time together but then should I homeschool all of my school aged children? My oldest is just starting high school and my second oldest is in year 5. I also have two girls going into year 1. So should I homeschool them all so that they can spend some time with their dad or just my second oldest or none of them?
