Best way to end it all, no sympathy please ?
I'm 48 year young, I have pretty much been there and seen everything, bar a few things still on the bucket list, but I have been stalked by a sociopath who is intent on ruining me and I have just had enough. I don't want sympathy, I'm not looking for people to dissuade me, I just want some advice on how to end it all fast and cleanly. I'm writing my will so that my relatives can benefit from my estate. Just want a simple way out. I have a gun 9mm glock, but heard bad stories about people even surviving head wounds... whats the simplest way out? Anyone?
7 AnswersOther - General Health Care8 years agoChristians: If the Old Testament Laws were for the Jews, then why not get rid of it?
I am so fed up with you Christians cherry picking from the old testament. If you can eat pork and shellfish, if the old laws don't apply, then why do you hang on to that old book?
I just don't understand! or doe you need SOME of the stories in the OT to complete your delusion?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIn your opinion, is Christianity Immoral?
The idea that an innocent party takes the punishment of the guilty in the form of a sacrifice is immoral. It is not only injustice, but a DOUBLE perversion of justice, because:
1. An innocent party is punished for something they did not do
2. The guilty go free unpunished
This is known as "scapegoating". This concept is prevalent in both the Old and New Testament.
The only logical purpose for the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection of the Christ figure is to instill guilt. When you examine the base doctrines of evangelism, it is very apparent that fear and guilt are the basic emotions that are used by many fundamentalist Christians to convert their targets. Fear is a powerful ally of the church, but it takes more than fear to hold the converted to their allegiance to the flock, and this is where guilt comes in. They try to "guilt" you into accepting Christ.
The basic problem with Christian religious morality is that it is nothing more than a primitive system of reward and punishment. Be good, don’t ask questions, stay in line and you will be rewarded. Be skeptical, ask questions and use your mind in a reasonable and rational manner and you are consigned to eternal punishment in the most horrible place, forever. This is nothing more than a form of blackmail or extortion. The idea that God needs to use the threat of hell to get his creation to love him is not a relationship based on love, it is based on fear, like an abusive parent or husband.

I mean we are all entitled to our opinion, even when it is obviously wrong.... right?

21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoChristians: Why do you hate Atheists so much?
Is it our charismatic personalities? Our insistence on logic and evidence? Or the fact that we ridicule your invisible imaginary sky daddy?

5 AnswersChristmas8 years agoChristians: Why is masturbation a sin? Everyone does it!?
I can't understand why Masturbation is such a sin.... it seems to me that it is a perfectly natural way of relieving sexual tension and desire. Perhaps if some of those Catholic Priests had whacked off they would not have abused little kids? I mean it's natural, normal and even serves a good purpose. It is known that men who masturbate regularly have less chance of getting prostrate cancer.
Why? Why is jerking off a Sin?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoChristians: If Christ was perfect, and also celibate, does if follow that?
Being Celibate is to be praised and a sign of perfection. So we should deny our sexual desires and needs, even though your god gave us these feelings? To me that just sounds like a version of sadism... so then is your god really the Devil, torturing us?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoChristians: Do you think that Christ was celibate?
The bible is unclear on this, do you think he never had sex, or perhaps he was Gay. At the time it would have been unusual for a man of his age to be unmarried. I'm just curious what you think?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs the God agoraphobic? We never see the God?
I mean do you think he has to stay in all the time because he's extremely shy or something?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy do Christians think they have a Monopoly on Christmas?
I mean, it's not Christs birthday, it is a pagan ritual stolen by Christians. What have Christmas trees got to do with Christ, I mean do you think they grow in the middle east where Christ was born, and what about all the mistletoe and feasting...?
Lets take back Christmas from Christians, they stole it and seem to want a Monopoly on it.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy do Theists get so rattled about Atheists?
It seems to me that Theists get so wound up by our logic and demand for evidence. Since they are powerless to respond they just seem to get hateful and insulting... Personally, I find it amusing.

This is the current scientific estimate, is it realistic that our God made all these stars?
