  • Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas cell phone service?

Hi! I am going on the Eastern Caribbean cruise as a graduation celebration with some of my friends, and my dad wants me to keep in touch with him. Will I be able to call or text on the ship or any of the islands? (Bahamas, St. Maarten, St Thomas) I read something about roaming and how the ship has it's own signal or something, but do I need to do anything special to use it, or does it just charge extra because of roaming? Also, are there any places on the ship with free wifi? The rates are pretty ridiculous.

  • Plan B questions?

Last night my boyfriend and I had sex, but the condom ended up breaking, so I am planning on buying Plan B emergency contraception but I have a few questions.

Will it make me sick or crampy or anything like that? I want to know ahead of time.

Is it on the shelves at walmart or do I have to go to the pharmacy? If it is on the shelves, is it near the condoms and other sexual health items?

He came MOSTLY out of me, is it still worth the $50 for plan b? I know it's better safe than sorry, but that's pretty expensive.

    Is it effective?

Thank you so much for any help.

  • Cell Phone service on Royal Caribbean cruise?

Next month I have an Eastern Caribbean Cruise with Royal Caribbean, and I was wondering if I would not only be able to use my cell phone on the ship but also on the Islands we are stopping at which include Nassau, Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.

Also, does anyone know how much wifi is on the ship? I'll be on Allure of the Seas if that matters. I couldn't find a straight answer on the website.

Thank you so much for any help!

  • Pregnancy Question?

I know that I'm going to get at least a few responses saying "You shouldn't have had unprotected sex!" But please try to refrain from that, I know. But, it's over now and I cannot go back in time.

I know that it is too early to tell and I'm paranoid like this whenever I have sex, but I had unplanned and unprotected sex with my boyfriend 1 week ago. We were both drunk and he couldn't keep it up because of that, so it was like a stop, go, stop, go sort of thing. I started to feel sick so we stopped and neither of us orgasmed. He unfortunately smokes Marijuana quite frequently, which lowers sperm count significantly, if I am not mistaken. The past few days I've been feeling pretty crampy, but my period isn't due for another week or so. So, what I am trying to get at here, is it very likely that I could've gotten pregnant from this? I know that there is ALWAYS a possibility, even with protection, I'm just wondering if it's a large possibility/likelyhood/ whatever. I'm just kind of freaking out. I'm 21, a college student and really not prepared for a child.

  • Math help?

These problems are from my Contemporary Concepts in Mathematics class, and I am really struggling with this section. I would really love to understand how to do these on my own, so if you could include how to get the answer as well, that would be great! I truly appreciate any help and I'm sorry if these problems are simple, I just really can't get the hang of them, so please leave rude comments about it to yourself if you have any.

    1) Assume that 2 fair dice are rolled. First, compute P(F) and then P(F|E). Explain why one expect the probability of F to change as it did when we added the condition that E had occurred.

F: the total is 3 E: an odd total shows on the dice

    2) We are drawing a single card from a standard 52-card deck find the following probability: P(queen | face card)

    3) Assume that 2 cards are drawn from a standard 52-card deck. Find the following probabilities.

    a) Assume that the cards are drawn without replacement, find the probability of drawing a red card followed by drawing another red card

    b) Assume the cards are drawn with replacement, find the probability of drawing a red card followed by a red card.

    Thank you again!

  • Math help! (Probability)?

    1) A pair of dice is rolled. What is the probability of getting a sum less than 6?

    2) If 7 coins are flipped, what is the probability of obtaining at least one tail?

These are probably super easy, but math is a struggle for me, sometimes. If you could kind of explain it, or show the work you used, that would be extremely helpful! Thank you so much for any help!

  • Math problem help?

The Question: In horse racing, a trifecta is a race in which you must pick the first, second and third place winners in their proper order to win a payoff. If sixteen horses are racing, and you randomly select three as your bet in the trifecta, what is the probability that you will win? (Assume that all horses have the same chance to win.)

If you could try to explain how to solve the problem too, that would be fantastic :)

Thanks so much for any help!

  • Websites to find cheap-ish Prom dresses?

I bought a $400 prom dress last year, but I've lost weight since then, so it's a size or two too big and I don't really want to get it altered. Are there an good websites where I could find cute, good quality (not like a cheap knock off), prom dresses? I'm hoping to spend less than $150, because I didn't stay at prom long so spending more ended up being a waste. I'd also prefer if it wasn't from a department store or anything because I don't want to wear the same dress as 10 other girls!

    Thanks so much!

  • Math question help?

"6 people will sit in 6 seats in a row. How many ways can this be done?"

I can't figure this out to save my life, I thought it was 6^6=46656, which it isn't. So if you could also explain it/put the work too that would be awesome since I have more questions like this :) Thank so much!

  • How do I train my dog to not (playfully) bite?

He is still a puppy (about 9 months old) but he his much past the chewing/biting phase. I've always had dogs in my life and none of them have had this issue. He doesn't bite out of anger, just when he is excited, trying to play, get attention, ect. He also will just randomly grab someone's hand (not in a mean way) while they're petting him. I have tried everything that I can think of like scolding him and spraying him with water. He's completely trained otherwise (he knows sit, stay, go, lay down ,he's potty trained, ect)

I am going on a month-long trip in a few months so my mom is going to have to watch him and she's not going to put up with the biting, plus she has young children as well, so I really need to find a way to break this habit.

I would just like to reiterate that he does not bite out of anger, or as a way to try to harm the person he his biting, but he is a 50 pound, playful dog, so he's stronger than he thinks and he has sharp teeth so half of the time is does hurt and is a little more than a nuisance. He his very loved, he's rarely alone and has never been mistreated. And if the breed matters at all in the way that one goes about training them, he's 1/2 beagle, 1/4 american bulldog and 1/4 yellow lab. He's very cuddly, loving and kind besides this.

Any training tips or tips on how to go about this are much appreciated! Thank you so much for any help.

  • Motivation to workout?

I'm by no means fat, but I am about 15 pounds over where I would like to be. I have a terrible habit of binge eating and not being active. I competitively swam from ages 5-16, but had to quit due to a terrible shoulder injury. Since then, I have no motivation to do any type of work out. When I am able to get myself up and go for a run, I enjoy nothing about it. Is there anything advice that you could give me to actually want to be active or any suggestions of fun workouts or any advice on this at all?

    Thanks!

  • My dog has big, itchy, patches of hairless, open wounds on his neck..?

These wounds started at small, black, lifted scabs, I assumed he got maybe from running into something or getting a small cut from a branch outside, they soon turned into open, red, fleshy wounds that easily bleed when he scratches them. He does not have fleas or ticks. He continues to scratch at them, which obviously keeps making them worse and worse. He lives in a very clean and loving environment, so it is in no way due to neglect. I did a little research last week and the symptoms matched the symptoms of "Hot Spots," so I went to PetSmart and bought an anti-itch spray and also a Hot Spot gel medicine, thing. Neither of those things helped in the slightest, if anything they made him scratch at the wounds more, so I no longer believe that it could be a hot spot. I then decided that I would bandage it with sterile gauze, so that it would be protected and he wouldn't be able to scratch at it, and then I also put a cone on him to help keep him from scratching at the bandages, but the wounds are at such an awkward place on his neck that the bandages wouldn't stay in place for more than a day and the cone doesn't completely cover it and I don't like the cone resting on the opened wound, because it probably irritates it more. Is there any other simple thing that it could be, that I could "cure" myself at home, without having to pay a big vet bill? I will obviously take him if it comes to that, but I would prefer to do it myself.

    Thank you for any help.
