If your kid had two budgie bird and one died. Kid is at school and doesn t know about it. Would you say nothing and drive to pet store and get a replacement? or would you tell the kid the truth?

I just received a photo radar ticket for $75. I reviewed the video. I was turning right when the light turned red. There were no pedestrians. I slowed down but didn't completely stop when turning right.

A few things make me hesitate to pay the fine right away:

1. The ticket was dated September but they sent to me in December. Why did they wait so long that I don't even remember who was driving the car?

2. It was issued to "me or my husband". I really don't know who was driving since we both drive this car.

3. This photo radar system was installed this year. Recently on our neighborhood website someone else posted a message saying it was way too sensitive, the person got 3 tickets in one month!

The only option I was given, other than paying the fine, is to go to the court. Do you think I have a case or am I just wasting my time?

I just saw under CreditKarma that I have an unpaid $30 medical bill in collection.

I am not the one that does not pay bills. Last year I paid about $5000 copay/out-of-pocket. I just didn't get this one for some reason.

I am willing to pay it but do I pay the collection agency or the hospital? So far collection agency hasn t called me. I don t even know exactly who bill me. It is one of the medical bills that they split into lab, office visit etc.

We are thinking about adopting a greyhound? Just want to know if they make good pets. Are they quiet? We have a large house with a cat. No small kids.

My father-in-law and mother-in-law divorced 30 years ago. For reason unclear he did not collect some of his share in real estate money. Now he wants that money. My mother-in-law is paralyzed and her mind is not very clear. Can he still sue her for that money?

I have 9 Japanese quails. They are about 10 weeks old. They started laying eggs two weeks ago. I got about 3-4 a day for the first few days. Then I started getting less and less. Now I am only getting one a day. Not sure what s wrong. I did move them from the basement to the garage since the weather is warm. Could that make a difference. I feed them layered chicken feed and clean water. Sometimes I give them some leafy vegies. That s all I am doing.

I know a lady who married an American guy in her country. They lived there at the beginning and eventually moved to American. They have been married about 4 years and she has a permanent green card. After they moved to America, the husband's mother moved in with them and she is very difficult. She is verbally abusive to the daughter-in-law. She would also do things such as walking into their bedroom without knocking. The couple at first decided to have a child but the mother talked her son out of it. The lady is past 40 and really wants to have a baby. She left home and moved to a different place hoping he would join her and start a new life. However he wants a divorce and does not want to give her anything. So he threatens her that he would go to the INS and tell them that she married for greed card and want them to take away her green card and chase her out of the country. Can the INS really take her green card away based on what he said?

My tenants gave us note to move out on the 15ths. They never paid any rent which is due on the first. They called us today saying that they found mold in the bathroom and their mother in-law has breathing issue . They are moving out in a few days but I still called a professional service to check the mold. However, they refused to let the professionals in saying that they are packing and they don t want people in.

What are they trying to do to us? And what are they capable to do to us?

My old tenant did not pay rent for the last couple month. How do I go after him for the unpaid rent? I have his SSN and phone number. People are telling me options such as going to court or debt collection agency. BTW the old tenant is self-employed.

If the tennant gave notice to leave but by the date he picked he is still there, can I take possession regardless or do I still have to go through eviction process?

I have a rental property with a renter still in there. I got a call from someone today asking to buy my property, with or without the tenant. She said she was an investor and wants to buy my house "as is" with cash. She gave me an offer that is not too bad. She said she does not want realtor involved but we just do this at the title company. This way it would save both us fees.

Do you see any red flags?
