i've liked a girl for i don't know how long. she has a great personality that is similar to mine. we occasionally talk but she doesn't seem interested in being more than friends. How do I tell her I want to go out?
By the way, if i get rejected I'll still see her and I don't want our friendship ruined.

Real women respect honesty. I would just say it. The worse that could happen is that you stay friends. Be brave. Some of us ladies still appreciate a man who goes after what they want.

invite her for a day in the park or dinner and a movie with just the 2 of you attending. while together, just tell her how you feel and no matter what her response, finish the day's event because as you say you're friends. if this doesn't go the way you want, you can still be friends.
