for girls: how do i ask a girl i know out?

Real women respect honesty. I would just say it. The worse that could happen is that you stay friends. Be brave. Some of us ladies still appreciate a man who goes after what they want.

invite her for a day in the park or dinner and a movie with just the 2 of you attending. while together, just tell her how you feel and no matter what her response, finish the day's event because as you say you're friends. if this doesn't go the way you want, you can still be friends.

Just be her friend for now. Then later maybe she'll realize that she likes you to. If you can't stand being just her friend then ask her out. Wouldn't you rather know how she feels then waste your time. What do you have to lose??? Good Luck:)
