When you report someones question, do you get in trouble if you've answered it?

Sometimes I see a question that is extremely offensive and it will have like 10 or so answers that say "Reported" or "You've just been reported". If the persons question gets deleted, do the people who answered it also lose their points for answering? (I hope I'm making sense!)

I dont think so, I had best answer once on an answer that was deleted about 2 minutes after that, and I didnt lose the points to my knowledge
