I'm looking at the Firebox SOHO 6tc mainly because I got it a trade show for $5. Are there any serious security issues? Does it stack up fairly well compared to Linksys, D-link, and Cisco routers and firewalls?

I have installed dozens of watchguard firewalls and I can tell you that if you got a Watchguard firewall for $5 then you got one awesome deal. Yes a Watchguard firewall is a good firewall and I would rank it higher than the firewall manufacturers that you mentioned. I have installed firewalls from Cisco, Linksys, D-Link and others and the Watchguard is by far the best.

Yes, they are very reliable
