What's the best medicine for ringworm rash on feet?
My husband has a ringworm rash on his foot. He's been using lotramin ultra for over two weeks now with no sign of improvment. The rash is on the top of his foot and is very red and itchy. Any recommendation for a better treatment that might work?

if topical creams or sprays do not help or only improve the condition until stopping and then it comes back, have the doctor run a check for liver disease.
It's common to have this symptom as a side effect of HCV, however, one can not rule out other diseases of the liver. Whether or not your husband has any of the more popular "risk factors" for having HCV, get him tested anyway.
HCV is a disease that is considered a "silent" disease. Many symptoms appear, but not diagnosed correctly until they run an antibody test for it.
My hands were that way for over 5 years and nothing helped, if only for a little while. The rash can be on the feet, hands, or any part of the body. What rid of mine was antiviral chemotherapy to kill the virus.
Try iodine in the little bottle with the wand in the lid. You can buy it over the counter at any pharmacy. It should dry it right up in a couple days. (Not mecuricrome) Good luck. :0)
doctor has a pretty good prescription for it. otherwise lotrimin is about the best out there. i hear supposedly soaking it in vinegar works but i never tried that. bleach will kill it but it kills the skin around it too and can cause burns. lotrimin usually takes about a month to work. doctor prescription takes about a week. you can also burn it off with a hot metal spoon or something but again that hurts and leaves scars.
