Why does a woman work ten to fifteen years to change a man's habits and then complain that he's not the man she married?

I may be the first and last woman to say this so you can NEVER erase this:

I HAVE NO IDEA!!

Because everyone knows that the day after they get hitched they turn into drinking slobs who sit in front of the television, never do anything around the house, can't even pick up their dirty laundry and to top it all off wants to know what's for supper as soon as you step in the house after a long day at work. So that's why it takes ten to fifteen years to change him back to the pre-wedding man (that's a very lose term)
Well that's it. Cheers =)

most woman try to mold their husbands to be like thier fathers. we look up to them all our lives and want our significant other to have his same qualities. Cause today there are so many men out there beating their spouses. Where back in the day they had repect for their wives and helped out around the house. These men are hard to find. However I finally after many years found one of those men.. We just want you to have good habits.. We all dream of that fairytale life.. And complaining about that person not being who we married. Everybody changes and not even the woman is the same. And us being women just need something to complain about it is our nature..

People don't really spend enough time to really get to know one
another before getting married then all these annoyances pop
up and the woman complains. My ex-wife always tried to make
me change to follow her schedule but she was really the one who needed to change. She never asked me anything about
anything and even if I told her a fact she would ask her sister the
same question. Everything she said to me had a exclamation point at the end.

It's the nature of the beast. Find something. Do all you can to "fix" it. Then complain its not at all what you started with.

Somewhere in the back of a womans mind, we think we can fix anything, then, when we discover that we can't, we simply blame the man. For example, it's your fault for asking this question. You made me have to tell the truth!
