I just finished watching this very film last night. The cast was unbelievably great; and the dialog was wonderful. You sound like a big film fan. Have you checked out imdb.com? If you haven't, here's their website.

The Magnificent Seven was the American Version to the greatest foreign film ever made... The Seven Sumarai...It is a black and white that was shot in Japan in the early 1950's.

If you liked the Magnificent Seven, rent out the Seven Sumarai and sit back and enjoy three hours of pure entertainment/action/storyline.

Great movie. Do you know that it was derived from a classic Japanese film titled, "The Seven Samurai".

It was the movie that made me realize what a great talent Yul Brenner was. He simply wasn't my idea of a cowboy/gunslinger but sure was believable in that role. It was one of the all time great westerns in its day.
