This happens to me all the time. How tall are you? If you are having to bend down and you are using your back to move, instead of your legs bending.. you're creating pressure. Try sitting down when you fold the laundry. As for the dishes, well just try your best to bring the dishes up to a higher level (so as not to have to bend!)
Hope that helps!

I have the same problem and I know it's bad posture at the sink, 'cause even when I was pregnant with my first I didn't get a back ache. I'm sure a lot of women are gonna think I'm lying but it's true; I didn't gain much weight during my pregnancy...
I don't have a problem with folding laundry. I do big things like sheets standing up and small things sitting down on a couch while watching tv.

don't do the dishes just get in some disposible stuff and eat out lots. don't fold landry or sit at table and do it. get a dish washer and start doing exerises to strenght your back currently the back muscles are weak from lack of real exersise so you are straining them. been there done that and been off work due to back problems

i usually have a little stepstool with me when i iron or fold the laundry or do dishes ,to put one foot on to relax the back a little , this helps a lot. And it's importand to raise the ironing board as high as possible
I hope this will help you too

You are experiencing pain because of bad posture while you are doing the dishes. You have to be mindful of your posture sometimes so that you are truly standing up straight.
If you cannot stand up straight you might have a back problem.
