Your first line of question should be directed to the game's maker. As this is a store bought game, there should be a manual with technical support numbers you can call.
As you didn't even mention the error's name, nor gave any details about the game nor your setup, it would be impossible to help you any further.
A "Runtime Error" is simply an error that occurs when the program is running, as opposed to when the programmers assembled the program (a "Compile-Time Error"). Without knowing anything more about the error, this is as helpful as e.g. a Check Engine light. You'd need to examine more about the car to figure out what's wrong.
That being said, one good step would be to check your drivers (video card, etc.), update DirectX, and make sure you don't have random stuff plugged in that's confusing the game. I would also suggest contacting technical support.
What's the game, and what's the full error message? (Identifying numbers such as "Runtime Error 10061" might help, but long piles of letters and numbers are usually not useful.)
Well Triffy I think there's no point gropping in Dark, Pls provide the exact Error msg (along with numbers and codes if there's any) to find out the exact solution of problem. Jus one thing pls check if you hace latest DirectX from microsoft installed on your sytem, which is important for proper graphic display..
It means that this program has a bug that programmers were unable to correct, or ur memory could be full try cleaning all the junk and try again, if this does not work go that particular games website and look for instructions.
You have to be precise on this for anyone to help you. Need to know system specs, and OS, the name of the game , the specific error information (exactly as written)
