Excite Truck for Nintendo Wii.....?

Anyone ever played versus mode in Excite Truck for the Nintendo Wii? How do you get it to recognize a 2nd remote? I know it works because I've used it to play Wii Sports.

I havn't had any problems getting it to recognize the second remote. It sounds like your remotes are correctly synced as you can use it in Wii sports so I'm at a loss. My guess would be to have both remotes working before you go to the Excite Truck channel. Also, I've only tested the 2nd remote in the Versus choice of the game, I'm not sure if the normal racing allows for 2 players.
