i want to go to the spa and hav nice quiet dinner party or something i usually end up going out and doing different things my friends think are fun but i dont so send in your suggestion everybody in advance thanking everybody gina:)

i suppose you could worry that everyone might get into the grog and get drunk and make noise... serve wines and champagnes and play classical music

Go to the spa with your friends then tell them that what you want is a quiet meal after may be about a handfull of people afterwards ok;

There may be some room for compromise though - how about letting on of them throw you the dinner party?
