The install shield wizard asks me to update windows but I don't know how.. please help! This is the error message:

Yikes, that's a scary message. But you said it simply needs updating? Try going to the start tab at the bottom left hand part of your screen, then look for windows update. Or you can do it the slower way, and go to microsoft.com and look for updates. Then just let it run and leave the PC alone so it can do its job faster. It'll likely need reboots, so just follow the instructions. If you have MS Office product, that'll need updates too. It keeps the bad guys out. Then learn how to set your PC to do this automatically under your control panel.
