why do vista ALWAYS ask for a disk when im trying install a camera?

well, i tried installing my phone, a razr, and an oldddddddd DC. i tried any disks that came with them, but no luck. and i cant install them w/o a disk...any solutions?

and im planning to get a sony DSC-W80 and i want to know if vista is gonna ask for a disk again.

and anyone have the same problem? or HAD the same prob, but got around it?

    for those items that ask for a disk

    go to the manufacture website for each of them

    and download the vista driver.

    the camera will be fine.

    it is already set for vista.

    Typical spendthrift MS you have to use a brand new disk every time even if there is only one picture on the used disk
