I'm concerned because my last pregnancy ended in m/c at 18 weeks. During that whole pregnancy I had miscarriage dreams. I don't think I had a single one that involved BFing or a normal birth.
I don't know if it's just paranoia or what but the dreams started again and I am about 6 weeks pregnant.
I guess I'm just hoping someone else had bad dreams but it turned out ok.

I am so sorry about your previous experience. But I too had dreams of miscarriage when I was about 4 months pregnant. I used to be so terrified; I just wanted to stay in bed and not move for fear of it actually happening! But I am happy to assure you that it all turned out fine, and my daughter is now 3 1/2 years old. I think because of the miscarriage earlier, you are all the more worried about this one. But don't worry; think happy thoughts, and everything will be fine. All the best.
Yes, this is very common in pregnancy. Your mother-instincts and worrying skills kick in early. The dreams are triggered by the strange sleep cycles most women have during pregnancy, they are either always getting up to go to the bathroom or waking up to change sleeping positions. I've had a couple dreams where I was hurt and ended up losing my baby. Last week I dreamt a car lost control and pinned me against a parked car and all I could do was shout "Save my baby." These are very typical dreams, and they'll freak you out, but you're okay, and as you've said your daughter is fine. Good luck, hon!
