Did you have miscarriage dreams during pregnancy?

I'm concerned because my last pregnancy ended in m/c at 18 weeks. During that whole pregnancy I had miscarriage dreams. I don't think I had a single one that involved BFing or a normal birth.

I don't know if it's just paranoia or what but the dreams started again and I am about 6 weeks pregnant.

I guess I'm just hoping someone else had bad dreams but it turned out ok.

I am so sorry about your previous experience. But I too had dreams of miscarriage when I was about 4 months pregnant. I used to be so terrified; I just wanted to stay in bed and not move for fear of it actually happening! But I am happy to assure you that it all turned out fine, and my daughter is now 3 1/2 years old. I think because of the miscarriage earlier, you are all the more worried about this one. But don't worry; think happy thoughts, and everything will be fine. All the best.

    Dreams About Miscarriage

Yes, this is very common in pregnancy. Your mother-instincts and worrying skills kick in early. The dreams are triggered by the strange sleep cycles most women have during pregnancy, they are either always getting up to go to the bathroom or waking up to change sleeping positions. I've had a couple dreams where I was hurt and ended up losing my baby. Last week I dreamt a car lost control and pinned me against a parked car and all I could do was shout "Save my baby." These are very typical dreams, and they'll freak you out, but you're okay, and as you've said your daughter is fine. Good luck, hon!

It's completly normal NO WORRIES!!! The more you worry the worse. I know it's so hard i worried about that all the time i would go to the bathroom every five minutes just to make sure there was nothing wrong. The dreams are just you worrying about your baby. I had them all the time during the first 3 months of pregnancy and when i would have one of those dreams i thought it was because i was going to lose the baby, but that never happened (everything is perfect!). I m now 26 weeks!!! You and your baby are perfectly fine don't worry you will have a healthy pregnancy!!! GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

I have these dreams all the time. I always dream that I'm sleeping and wake up gushing blood or that I go to use the bathroom and it's a bloody mess all over the place. It's scary...and I think some of it has to do with the fact that I'm terrified of miscarriage or still birth. I'm 31 weeks now and hope everything turns out okay for the both of us.

Yes! My last pregnancy (3rd) I had horrible dreams, and to top that off I had some bad complications in the beginning of pregnancy that caused me to think I was miscarrying. However I went on to have a happy and healthy 10 pound 10 ounce baby boy March 2006!

Try not to worry too much. And best of luck to you.

LOL well im 30 weeks pregnant, and lastnight i had this EXACT dream. Ive never m/c before so im not sure where this dream came from. But i was looking in the mirror and had a flat stomach all of the sudden, and was bleeding with clots and i remember trying to wake hubby asking if we needed to go in. So im sure yours comes from already having a m/c and being nervous about it. I dont think you have anything to worry about :) Like i said im 30 weeks pregnant with a healthy strong little guy :) Goodluck and congrats on the baby!!!!!

I am in the middle of a completely healthy pregnancy and have had many miscarriage and stillbirth dreams. They are the worst.

When they started for me, I asked pregnant friends who all concurred that the exact same thing happened to them.
