Were Philippine elections peaceful?

According to the Philippine government, the elections held 10 days ago were relativaly peaceful.
They're still counting, and so far over 200 people got murdered and 3 times that number was injured. I wonder what the final count will be.
And they're mad at the international monitors who pointed out problems...

Basically, yes the recently held Philippine election was relatively peaceful compared to previous elections since violence and killings only started to escalate during the election period. There have always been election hotspots, which to my opinion would never really be resolved since the problems here actually involve political dynasties.
