Remember a time when the GOP almost always carried Virginia in presidential elections?

The right wing oppression and suppression results in a drip, drip, drip of lost support. Soon, it will have to rebrand closer to the middle to stem the drip. Even Hillary got 3M more votes than trump. People know what direction "it" comes from.

How about the time the demokkkrats controlled it and they seceded from the union and joined the confederacy.

sure... I also remember the time when California voted for the GOP Presidential candidate in three consecutive elections in the 1980s...

oddly enough, that followed a time when a "nice guy" followed a much-hated guy and was supposed to "restore decency" to the White House....and it also coincided with economic stagnation, high gas prices, rising interest rates and both California and New York asking for massive federal bailouts...

you know..... just like now....

Yes. Well, when you expand the Federal government to 10X its former size and most of its employees live in Northern Virginia, you're going to get some change, and not for the better.
