Searching for activity/job that I can doeven disabled?

REAL: I am searching for a job that I could do even though I have numerous disabilities. I'd like to list my situations, and maybe you could think of a job for me. I'm serious and hope some creative minds can help me.
-I cannot drive cars/equipment due to drugs (24 hr morphene)
-the drugs fade me in and out often, job must allow me time to chill
-Fused left wrist works with limited range, weak, and can last 2-4 hours a day
-carpel tunnel/damage to right wrist. weak, and can last 1-3 hours a day.
-Neck fused in a couple places. limited usage and motion.
- Tinnitus (ear ringing) is severe at about 40%
-cannot work looking up in the air due to neck
-low back fused in a couple of places, limited usage and motion. Some days I can walk, with rest, for a couple hours, some days I can't get anywhere.
-stress causes me extreme pain. whatever I do cannot have stress.
-crutches are out of the question, the next step is a motorized wheelchair
Strengths: IT, systems design, documents

First of all, thank you all for tanking the time to give me some solid ideas. I'm tried some already - but there wasn't room to say everything.
I was in the Navy, subs. I worked in IT and management. My own business was too stressful.

I've almost given up, but you all have given me more hope. Thanks.

I feel for your situation . I know what someone must go through when disabeled. I am disabeled myself (due to congestical heart disease).
However, as a retired Social Worker, I would recommend to you that you go to your local state Vocational Rehabilitation agency. Ask for a counselor that will be assigned to you. He/she will go through with you and your illnesses. They will than determine whether or not you will be able to qualify for their job rehabilitation programs.
They will also determine, which incencetives you qualify for.
I know from my own experience, cause I have been through this program my self.
Another thing I would find out (if you used to be in the military or served in the military), whether these delibated illnesses were cause by your active duty particpation. If they were you can go to your local Veterans Affair office. And will be assigned a VA counselor. Here too you could apply for rehabilitation program once they determined your grade of disability due to combat.

Sometimes your local, state department of commerce can grant you a loan to open up your own business in your home. All you need is a buisness certification. File your tax ID with the IRS as well.

Hope this helps. Years of my own experience with dealing with my own disability.

At the Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center(Charleston, SC) works a gentleman that sound quite similar to yourself. He runs records up and down the place in an electric wheel chair.

Phone work- collections, sales, answering service
Web design
Research assistant- online or library research

(have you tried epidural pain relief rather than morphine? Just asking as I know the morphine can be quite debilitating all by itself)

I hope you get some great ideas here!

go to www.eSight.org, click on ENN and subscribe, there are job alerts there for people with disabilities who want to work .

With it being the information age and use of the knowledge worker working from home , you should be able to find something that if doesn't give you full time work will give you part time work.

Have you been assessed by voc rehab and what do they say?

where have you been looking previously for work?
