What if one of the most popular spoilers that is making its way around the Internet (the one where someone took pictures of every page of the book) was actually created by JK Rowlings or someone invovled in the book's security. Wouldn't that be a great way to throw people off trying to get the real story in the book?

That is a possibility because she has been known to do that. She jokes like that.
Since I am an expert on J.K. Rowling and am her personal friend (not really), I would hazard a guess that this isn't the kind of thing she would do. That's just my opinion. That would be a nice idea, though.
I did hear, though, that some of the boxes of books were opened and sold somewhere by mistake. I seriously doubt it was really a mistake, but there you go. If that's the case, it would come as no surprise that people would want to post the information online, just for a little bit of glory, or something.
A friend of mine is going to Hong Kong in a week or two. We asked him to buy us some of the Harry Potter knock-off books that are so rampant over there. We thought it'd be good for a laugh. I hear Harry gets turned into a short hairy dwarf in one of them! Weeee!!
