I live in Pondicherry, India. I have installed a small dish and i am getting the fta channels provided by dd. direct. Im curious to know with the same dish alignment, can i tune into some more channels?? whether any other transponder frequencies, symbol rates are available to get some other channels??

For that information best to call your local cable company who handles the dd direct dth dish part. You should be able to under another package deal which you might have to pay for it extra each month. Call them up and see what they tell you. Who knows they might have a special going and you could probably get a discount.

Yes, you can get more channels by using monoblock lnb, or you can install more than 1 LNB on single Dish. you can connect these lnb by DiSEqCE Switch.
