Tonks, Lupin, and Colin Creevy have their deaths confirmed on pg. 743

19 years after the events in the book:
Ron has married Hermione, their two children are named Rose and Hugo
Harry has married Ginny, their three children are named Lily, James, and Albus severus.
Draco Malfoy has a son named Scorpius
The epilogue shows all of the children boarding the train for Hogwarts together.
The final lines of the book are: “The scar had not pained Harry for 18 years. All was well.”
Plot Spoilers
Part of Voldemort’s soul was implanted into Harry whenever he used Ara Kadvara on him when he was a baby. Harry then sacrafices himself a la Lilly Potter style, which allows him to kill Voldemort without killing himself. He brings himself back to life using a wand and a rock
Snape went to the good side (Hogwarts, etc.) because he was all emo that Voldemort killed Lilly Potter.

From the beginning,
Those who died :

Ted Tonks( Tonks' father)
Peter Pettigrew

The rest survive including of course Harry Potter who kills Voldemort after destroying the Horcruxes and using the Deathly Hallows and ultimately goes on to live happily ever after with Ginny and Ron with Hermione as shown in the epilogue where they go to King's Cross to drop their children on the Hogwarts Express.

Harry didn't die. When Voldemort uses the Killing Curse on him, Harry finds himself with Dumbledore at a deserted King's Cross Station. It is explained he cannot die while Voldemort lives since he used Harry's blood to recreate his body, and Lily's protection binds the two. It is unclear if he actually dies, or it is merely a dream. He finds that the spell destroyed the part of Voldemort's soul he had inside himself which appears represented by a wounded dying creature. Harry is given the choice of "going on", or returning to try and stop Voldemort, he chooses the latter.

In book 7, Voldemort uses Avada Kedavra. There is green light. Harry falls to the ground. There is nothing.

In a very typical and boring way borrowed from countless comic titles. I think that I have never, ever, seen so much chicken scratch. The new book is boring and uneventful. There is almost no character development and the storyline draws HEAVILY from the previous novels. The majority of the "plot twists" and "surprises" are trivial and the character's motivations seem genuinely uninspired.

Not a very good book, wait for the movie
