I have nothing but the highest regard for our troops (I served in the Army), I know they did not ask to be sent to that hellhole, but there is some hypocrisy to this reasoning. In warfare, you use what's at your disposal. I agree that the insurgents are cowards for targeting civilians, but that's another story.

im a navy man and vietnam vet...the insurgents know they are out manned and cannot compete with our superior weaponry so they use what they can to fight with..the people we train in iraq are afraid of there own people..thats why they dont want us to leave..besides if we have the power to deture any more attacks (ie air power ....tanks ..other special weapons) use them..they are there to help OUR troops..beam me up scottie
