How many think that the insurgents in Iraq are cowards because they use IED's...?
but think it's ok for the US to use air support and do not call them cowards? I have nothing but the highest regard for our troops (I served in the Army), I know they did not ask to be sent to that hellhole, but there is some hypocrisy to this reasoning. In warfare, you use what's at your disposal. I agree that the insurgents are cowards for targeting civilians, but that's another story.
I totally agree s g. David and Goliath style. But I would say no rules. Fight with everything you have.
Forgot to say, I'll be right there with you and will spot some money to bring it to them, but no holds barred.

I don't think the use of IEDs define cowardice. We used the same principles in every war we fought. Anyone remember Claymores? What defines cowardice is shooting from behind women and children and from hospitals and mosques.

As an Iraqi conflict vet i will sadly provide help to be conscious of which you have have been given have been given been grossly misinformed. Air strikes are very incredible, concentrated and easiest used particularly circumstances. Raids located us at a miles extra useful possibility to be a casualty and regrettably it is how we carry out a lot of our missions. i'd advise you detect a sparkling grant of be conscious of-how. in case you utilize the media that could be a brilliant mistake. occasion, the Iraqi individuals, for in all likelihood the main element love us and what we are doing there. I surely have a pair of pictures of the locals giving us hugs and top 5's. The media leads you to sense otherwise, particularly. additionally the civilian deaths extra approximately for the time of the U. S. are so very minimum. conflict is hell and shortage of existence is the effect once you're harmless or a combatant. you will no longer even evaluate WW2 to Operation Iraqi Freedom, it is not EVEN A conflict! 2 diverse battles, structures, much less countries and individuals in contact, international domination now no longer in play and diverse technology. For you being a self proclaimed, historian, i'm taken aback at how unintelligent you come for the time of. For the calling me a coward element, why do no longer you carry close an M-sixteen, circulate over there and exhibit us all the way it is completed! while you're making it back in a million piece i'm going to call you a coward after which you will tell me the way you think of. God Bless

I think a good old fashion fist fight would be the best way to settle it. I will personaly take on every extreme islamic/muslim who has a beef with the US or Christianity. One on one all line up in row and let me have a go, to the death. Nothing but bare hands and feet. UFC rules. I figure I could dispose of the whole weak mess of them in a year or two, fighting 40 hours a week. Now that the challenge is out, lets see who is willing to step up. There has to be some extreme/radicalized islamics/muslims reading these. If any of you want to consent to a mutual combat situation to the death with UFC style rules, let me know. I will even pay for your trip or come to you. NOW PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS.

It's not a matter of cowardice, as you say you use whats at your disposal. They have become too weak to launch even small scale conventional operations. The resort to IED's is a way to carry out an attack even if you only have a handful of people

Military personel are tough cookies.
That said war is brutal. But if the insurgents weren't on attack and Iraqis welcomed us like we were told this would all be over.
In reality, if your vote was for Bush you did ask for the war we got, he never hid the fact he was going to attack.

That's why the Pentagon gave the insurgents 200,000 U.S. taxpayer bought AK-47 rifles to use against our troops.
That's one way to keep the war going I guess - arm the enemy.

Well they don't have B52 bombers so they are stuck with a less effective method of killing people.
